The media could not be loaded. Just like with most knife sets, when you first get them they're sharp but after time, they seem to dull. However, this knife set has been different from our other knife sets. These knives were not only sharp but have remained sharp this how time. No matter what we cut, they cut through it as if it was soft butter. As you can see in the video, I was able to chop through pickles like nothing but then cut a mandarin without doing the sawing motion. After I did this video, I took an old knife in a drawer and when I started to chop that same pickle, it smashed it as soon as I pushed down. When I went to cut through the mandarin, I had to do the sawing motion to create a cut so then I actually cut into it. But again, I smashed the mandarin as well. Even if you leave these knives in the sink, no rusting, AT ALL. That part I was shocked because almost every knife set that we've purchased has rusted, even the most expensive ones. With these, absolutely no signs of rust and always sharp.

Chef husband, used these immediately. We are a Cutco knife household. So we are used to paying dearly for quality knives. However we have lost knives over the last 10yrs. The Price~Value of this set is remarkable. Hubby is very happy, warned me immediately that these are EXTREMELY SHARP. To be careful. And made me a lovely dinner using every knife in the block... lol. They are well made and quite attractive. *One tip. Store the knives blade up not blade down.

This is very sharp set. However, the knif handles are not as lavish as the pictures show them to be. They are very dry and unpolished. There are also gaps between the metal and wood that need to be filled. Also, the holding block does not match the knives at all, its complete and total mismatch.

This is an amazing knife set! The handles are a beautiful wood and feel really well in your hand. The blades are sharp and cut really well. I love that the steak knifes are serrated. The blades are significantly one from the other which I love- the variance is absolutely perfect! A new knife set makes me so happy!!!

I was badly in need of a new set of knives, and I searched on Amazon and found this set. I didn't have alot of money to spend on this so the price on this set was a good value so I ordered it. I started using them as soon as I received them and I was not disappointed, These knives are very sharp and work great. I nice variety of types of knives also. Its great that it comes with a knife sharpener and a pair of scissors. I like that the color of block matches my kitchen very well and the knives clean up well. I do wash them by hand as recommended and haven't had any issues with rusting. Great buy, just be careful they are very sharp . :-)

1st purchased Returned, missing pieces. The seller reached out and sent a replacement. The set I received today had all the pieces as advertised and seem to be very sharp and the red color handles are very nice looking. This set is a good every day knife set. It is not dishwasher safe so hand wash and dry immediately to prevent rust. I have not used them more then testing them out as I just received them today. I gave it 5 stars even though the first set I received was missing one peice, The seller was very determined and quick to satisfy their customers and stand behind their product. I would recommend this set and seller

Bought 3 sets for Christmas: a set for my sister & brother-in-law, my Dad, & myself! I was pleasantly surprised with the quality & they are very sharp! Slices through meat & raw veggies like butter! It was a refreshing replacement after my old Ginsu knives started falling apart (that were abused for years in the dishwasher.) Haven't had any rusting or pitting issues. I hand wash & dry them thoroughly after use. I really like the block style & attractive color. My sister was impressed with them too and packed up her old knives set to put in her camper. Dad loves his set too. Way nicer than I expected for the price! I saw bad reviews with pictures on knives that were a lot more expensive than these. I shopped a long time & reading reviews before deciding to go with these. I am so glad I did. No regrets!
