The Allen & Heath CQ-18T is a a super portable and easy to use fully featured digital mixer, suitable for technical and non-technical users. It is built on a 96kHz platform capable of smart processing and rich in connectivity, network, WiFi, Bluetooth, SD and USB. It features a desktop format with hands- on control via a 7" touch screen or wirelessly controlled via a mobile device such as a tablet, phone or laptop computer. Love this thing!!! - going from analog boards to digital has been a little frustrating but this has almost been fun lol. Yeah there is a learning curve but it has been MORE than worth it. No more extra laptops for zoom calls (live in room), no more extra audio interfaces, no more aux in/out mix minus patches... Just build the scene and use the scene. This is a board that rewards prep. And maybe other boards do too but this is the only one that somehow made switching over (upgrading to digital) easy and rewarding. The only real negative is it would be nice to have one or two assignable (tactile) faders. If you need to make a (series of) moves in a hurry, she's a little clunky because you have to be where you need to be FIRST, then you have to tap "the thing you need" THEN you can start adjusting. Again just a little clunky but I WILL TAKE THAT ALL DAY for the trade off(s). ... show more

If you run sound and play in a band at the same time this is the best option in my opinion. I ran sound at a casino and at many bars for many bands. This one is so great because you have full control with or without an IPad. No need for a router this built in one works well. Bluetooth also is a great feature. This was made for a musician. I have two RCF J8 column arrays and this mixer with my pedal board rig using a Strymon Iridium and other pedals stereo out two direct boxes for my guitar into two channels on this mixer. I can mic the rest of the band with 14 channels play Bluetooth music from my phone and hand my IPad to a friend when he comes out to see the band. I use Mixing Station app on my IPad. All this fits in my Toyota Matrix with the seats up. I am looking forward to using it as a live-stream mixer and as an audio interface for DAW. Using it tonight at a restaurant gig with a band. La consola es una maravilla. 100% recomendada. Pero si estas en eeuu de visita y la compras en ese pais. Al regresar en mi caso, a Ecuador y Apesar de haber pagado impuestos por la compra. La aduana me la quizo quitar. Me hicieron pagar mas de 700 dolares adicionales. La consola es para mi uso personal ya que me encanta hacer karaokes la saqué de la caja la probé. Bote la caja le saque etiquetas y la metí en mi maleta de bodega en el avión pero para la aduana dijo que yo me iba a lucrar con ella. Yque si reclamaba mucho hasta los calzoncillos que llebava me los iban a quitar. Amazing, responsive touch screen, lots of built in overly easy effects and settings but also gives you access to more than that. Out of the box felt intuitive and super compact with tons of I/O options.

    • FANTASTIC product for the price. Main knob loose

Let me start by saying this is an absolutely first rate product for the price. It's not often I get to enjoy purchasing something that has this much wow factor. The only complaint is that the main knob slides off too easily. Not so much that it would fall off if you turned it upside down, but definitely noticeable when you use the knob normally. I contacted A&H support. They were great at getting back to me quickly btw. They said this is "normal". It feels like a flaw to me, but whatever. My solution was to wrap the post with a few wraps of silicone tape that you find in the plumbing section of big box stores. Works like a charm now. ... show more
