First, I will say that I don't usually like tea bags and prefer loose tea. That being said, this is the exception. This is my second box of this tea and it is the best and strongest without buying loose tea.

I’ve been looking to replace a few cups of coffee in my daily routine with a green tea. I don’t love plain green tea on its own, but a little mint makes all the difference. For the past few months, I’ve been blending together different mint and green teas to make my own mint green tea, but it was a hassle. I ordered this on a whim because I found it affordable and exactly what I needed. I love it! I have 2-3 cups a day. Typically, I’m not a huge fan of spearmint but this tea does it right. It’s the perfect proportion of mint and tea, and tastes super smooth, even if I accidentally steep for too long. The flavor is enjoyable without sweetener, but I do like to add pure cane sugar every now and then. It’s perfectly flavored whether you want to drink it hot or iced, and the packets are sturdy enough that I can throw them in my bag and not worry about tearing or spillage. Mild mint in green tea. Flavorful - much better than other brands. Doctor said no more black tea so this is my new tea. Wonderful both cold and hot. Lower caffeine and lower oxalates.

The tea is as promised, normal green tea with a pleasant floral scent. The packaging however, is the reason I will not buy again. It's stupid to think your money spent on tea can make the difference in packaging, but apparently in this case, it does! The individual packaging for each tea bag does not come with effective (or any) easy-to-tear slits. You know the kind that you rip along the top to open the bag in one motion. Either the slits are very tiny or plain not there, because every time I want tea, I find myself wrestling with hand and teeth to try to get it open (and the bag is surprisingly hard to tear, I guess for freshness sake its inner lining is ?plastic). Either I finally gore the packaging open or take a scissor to it (which comes with the risk of cutting the string from the bag) but either way it's actually frustrating each time I want to drink tea to RELAX. I'm only about 6 packages of tea into this box and I already want to toss it and duke out $3 more dollars for apparently better packaged tea. I'm definitely being a big baby about this but tea to RELAX should not incite frustration. ... show more
