This is a fantastic buy!! I highly recommend. I thought about buying the traditional wicker style picnic basket, however if you need to walk any distance to get to your spot this bag is perfect. It is set up like a back pack. It still has a decent handle at the top. Nice deep insulated section for your treats and ice packs. The wine bottle/ beverage bag is also slightly insulated. And detaches with clips. There is also a wine/beverage opener inside. The bag also comes with a blanket with a water resistant side. Easily rolls up for storage. The blanket is not large enough for four people but is great for two. The plates and glasses are plastic, however they are sturdy. The bag also has four napkins and cutlery for four and two cute spice containers.A cutting board is also inside however, we found it more useful to hold our beverages so they would not spill. This was the perfect wedding gift for a young couple in our church. Along with a card suggesting picnics in the park when you can’t afford anything else you still need to eat lunch or dinner. This was a fun gift and it seemed like they really liked it.

I got this for my husband who is really into camping and durable stuff, but also just likes to go for picnics. He was thrilled and has used it many times since, with me and just as a backpack. The blanket is great for damp or uneven ground, the tools are low quality but great for their uses (opener will open wine bottles just fine, knife will cut easily cut things, plate will plate, just not fancy or high quality) but we’ve gotten a lot of joy out of it as a set and definitely recommend. The insulation in the pack and the bottle holder are definitely effective for hot or cold purposes alike. Seams are solid on everything, won’t fall apart at all. Haven’t tested the waterproof factor of the blanket fully yet but it seems legit just looking at the construction. ... show more
