  • Love my Fire TV!!
Size: 42 inches
I just bought this 42 in insignia Fire TV and it hooks up through Wi-Fi and is so easy to assemble it has great functionality the quality seems to be great the app available is wonderful since I really don't need all that many do Amazon Prime and Amazon Vine and Amazon Music along with YouTube and peacock and Paramount plus that is really the only channels that I use. I can mirror my phone to my TV I have several devices hooked up through Bluetooth it has a lot of options that you can select from. I don't really have any lag. The size is 42 in. And it's great entertainment value because I am just watching on a bigger screen but I normally would watch on my laptop. That was the whole reason that I bought the TV to begin with. ... show more

  • Excellent TV
I bought this to replace an ancient 32" Vizio TV for my guest room. My initial reaction upon unboxing: • OMG - there's no way this is a 32" screen • OMG - the remote doesn't have numbers - must not have a built-in broadcast TV tuner • OMG - the sound quality is going to suck because it's so very thin Wrong in all cases: • There's barely any bezel and the screen is a true 32" • There is a broadcast TV tuner you can easily program for the stations you want to receive • The sound is good. I mean, it's no BOSE soundbar quality but it's fine for casual viewing I'm not crazy about not having numbers on the remote but the built-in Fire Stick is great (not having to have two remotes). Quality of the 1080 screen is wonderful. Love it. ... show more

  • Works great! Bright screen, great color.
Size: 42 inches
I've had this TV for almost a year and I have no complaints! Easy to use right out of the box, I don't even use cable I just use streaming services. Make sure your Internet is fast and you are good to go. My TV is pretty far away from the router and I rarely have issues with lagging. I would say that the screen is pretty bright. Great value for the money. Many apps and high definition for not being 4K. Make sure you have room wherever you put it because the legs are on each end of the TV and not in the middle. ... show more

  • Solid TV for the price
Size: 42 inches
Great little TV for the price. Good picture and sound. Easy set-up. Got it as a bedroom TV and looks like a very good choice. Supports all the usual streamers. Also supports Amazon photos so can run that as a continual screen saver. Only had it a couple days but very pleased for the price.

  • Great Tv for the price
The picture for the price is very good, and delivery was ahead of the expected delivery date. This made our MIL really happy as her tv went out, and you know how that generation hates to miss Matlock or BlueBloods. Super easy to setup and the Hdmi ARC was a bonus. This was a huge upgrade over what she had and the picture was very clear. She was able to use the remove and voice commands which took a minute for her to learn, but easy enough. The size was also an upgrade to what she had and fit into almost the same space. It interated easy enough with her Spectrum Cable Tv box ... show more

  • Quality and price
I love this tv. It has more features and options than I ever imagined, apps you get on a smartphone can be added to the tv, picture and sound system the best I have ever seen in a tv, doesn’t stick or freeze, very durable and can fit anywhere due to its size, very easy to setup and mount on the wall and the price was amazingly affordable. I was surprised when I saw everything the tv had to offer at that price. I definitely recommend getting one it amazing ... show more

  • Almost Five Stars; Speaker & Other Features Take One Away
I got this TV on a Cyber Monday sale and am very pleased with it (though I'm disappointed to see that today it's offered for $5 less than I paid for a Cyber Monday sale.) It was in-stock at my local Best Buy so I was even able to go pick it up immediately! I wanted a small TV in a master bedroom where there was already a mount left by the previous owner of the house. The picture is bright and clear, and I was surprised & pleased to discover that since this is a FireTV, there are SO MANY free channels that are available. You will never run out of stuff to watch! I thought I'd just be watching my streaming services, but lo and behold I find myself watching all kinds of specialty channels: Cold Case Files, The FBI Files, Saved by the Bell, I (Almost) Got Away With It, Mystery Science Theater 3000, Judge & Jury (it's mostly Judge Judy and Judy Justice), and so many more. Pretty amazing. The seller of our home also had an outdoor antennae, and the cable ran right up to the mount, so I hooked it into this TV and now I have nearly 40 local channels. Also, I have hooked my Nintendo Switch up to it and that's been a nice option as well. So buying this TV really surpassed my expectations, especially for the low price! I've noticed some of the Continue Watching options (on the home screen) don't work the greatest. For example, if I click on certain shows on Hulu or Peacock under Continue Watching, it won't load up where I truly left off if I have watched those shows on other devices since the FireTV. It'll just take me where I left off watching that show on the FireTV. It's an annoyance to have to arrow down to the app and then select the show when the app loads up instead, but it does correct the problem. Also, there are apps that aren't included in Continue Watching. None of the Discovery+ shows show up under Continue Watching, for example, or Paramount+. I wish they all showed up there. Also, channel guide-wise, it'll often take me to the middle or end of the guide, and more often than not I want to start at the top of the guide. So I have to arrow alllll the way up to the top so I can first see what's on the local channels and then start arrowing down through all the channels to see what I might want to watch. I'm trying to think of the reason it's laid out this way (starting you at the point in the guide of I'm guessing the channel you last watched) and can't think of any. After all, heading-wise, it starts you on the heading All at the top, and at times you want to arrow right to Recents, but if you're in the middle or end of the channel guide, you have to arrow ALL the way up through the point of the channel list you are at to get to the top headings. It frankly sucks. The bulk of the reason I detracted one star is the speaker. I rarely have the sound above maybe 14 (mostly it's between 9-12), and if something is running nearby like the dryer or the Roomba, I have turned it up to no more than 20. However, even though this is a mere fraction of how high the TV CAN go, the speaker sometimes rattles audibly depending on what's playing. It even happens when the volume is on 14. I don't know if this is a defect (because the volume has never been above 20) or if it's specific to what I'm watching and the speaker is really fine. Either way, it grates on me. And buying even a cheap soundbar to remedy this would cost half what the TV did AND add another remote control to the mix. So I'm living with it for now, but it's irritating. Overall though? I'm thrilled with this inexpensive purchase which has given me loads of new entertainment. ... show more
