These are perfect for curtains or portières. Cuts down on my electric bill!
Size: 84 in (Length)
Color: Purple
I live in a very old drafty Victorian house that has a lot of bay windows and large open doorways. Being a huge fan of the Addams Family I did a little research into what was traditionally used for cover doorways with no actually door or large entryways. Portières have been used for ages to confine and keep the heat in one room or a series of rooms. These require THICK curtains (which I have used before) but I wanted a nice decorative twist. These fit the bill. I am very happy with the thickness and quality of these curtains. There are not 100% light blocking but I'd say 95% the get really dark. I like the attached valance as well as the sheer. Anyone who has had to do curtains knows it's a royal pain to get things online to match, not to mention expensive. These were the same price as the SINGLE curtains I bought last year with no sheer that were visually similar. Very happy with my purchase, will be purchasing again. They fit perfectly over the large double doorway to my kitchen (48" wide) and are not stretched too thin. It gives the impression they are very thick and robust (which to be honest, they are) but also they are $$$ which they aren't ;) They are also perfectly Eggplant color, which is what I wanted. A dusty dark purple. I will have to hem them a little---but that's not a problem. They fit into a thick 1.5" rod with ease. keep in mind these are heavier curtains so you'd need something more substantial to keep them up---I'd recommend an actual curtain rod or cupped dowel rod. Tension rods will fail, even the thick ones. I kind of wish the sheer was detachable---but I'm crafty enough to make that work. TLDR: Pros- Thick Voluminous Light blocking (95%) Keeps heat in rooms and drafts OUT when used as a portière Keeps drafts OUT when used as a curtain (as long as tight against window) Fancy as Hell Gorgeous design and color Matching set---it's a window treatment in a bag Heavy duty and Thick Cons- Heavy (weight) Non detachable sheer (not an issue for me) Bulky (again not an issue for me---might be for some?) Just the Tips: Make sure you use a strong rod to hold these guys--tension rods will not do---trust me on this. Even shower curtain rods. They may work for a bit but these guys are heavy and they will fall. Keep in mind if you have taller people in the house it might be annoying to walk through them. Enjoy!

These are gorgeous.
Size: 84 in (Length)
Color: Black
These are gorgeous and well made. They are dark enough to block light but aren't 100% opaque like a 3rd shift employee might want. Ice now ordered 2 sets and will be ordering a 3rd for my extra room. I love them.

I love these curtains, but...
Size: 63" Length
Color: Black
I bought these to decorate my reading room and I love them. The only issue I have with them is that the measurements seem to be off by a half inch to an inch or so. I made sure to measure the area in my room to make sure I was getting the correct length when I ordered these curtains. I took the measurements a few times to make sure I was getting the correct number before placing the order, but when I got the curtains and hung them up, the curtains were too short. It isn't a deal breaker, just a minor annoyance. The quality of these curtains is great. They are thick and heavy and they are absolutely beautiful. They are full of nice detail and add a great touch to my room. They don't let a lot of light through the window, which is what I was going for. Overall, I am really happy with my purchase. I love these curtains and think they look fantastic in my reading room. Just wish they were a tad bit longer.

Stunning
Size: 63" Length
Color: Black
These curtains are heavy thick and so pretty! You can pull back the black out ones to expose the sheer one underneath so you're not stuck in darkness all the time. They are extremely well made and are my dream curtains!

I keep buying more
Size: 84 in (Length)
Color: Black
I bought these in 2020 when redoing my then tiny house. I've since used them in two other houses. They've survived a total of five cats and still look wonderful. I've bought a few sets since to cover more windows, and the quality has remained the same. The only issue I've had is that the original tiebacks they came with ended up becoming cat toys because of the fringe. Absolutely have recommended to friends and family.
