Just got the replacement L for an XL that kept sliding around even tightly laced. The L will work much better and seems of decent quality. The panels crinkle a bit at my waist when snug (you can see a little in the photo). It feels good on, though, and I think it will hold up. My only real complaint is that the replacement was shipped in its own product bag (see other photo), with a shipping label slapped on it and no tape to keep the plastic zip closure from coming open. Was Amazon too cheap to make sure the shipping crew had enough shipping pouches on hand?? There's nowhere else to remark on shipment packaging except by phone call (don't have time for that) or a bot through the app (which I don't have or want). ANYway...the corset is darling, pretty like the photos, and will likely serve for what I want it for. ... show more

I used mine for a costume party. It fell apart shortly after. I replaced the original ribbon with something wider as the thin did not look great, the boning started exposing and the corset itself would even warp a little when putting it on. It served its purpose but nothing after that.

Straps are thin ribbon, and are decorative rather than functional. The size chart indicated that a small would fit, but it was loose even snugged all the way up

My only regret.....that it doesn't come in some sort of pink variant lol. I will getting one in every color lol. The red can be used on valentines day and christmas so it'll be versatile enough for me. I usually have to order at least 2 sizes up on these types of 'corsets' to fit right (as many of us do and have)... but not these. They are very true to size so order in the size you normally wear. If you want a corset with a little more give, just order one size up, but even then, you probably won't need it. Very light weight too! They don't squeeze or poke at your ribs when you sit down like so many others do. Another winner, especially if I want one in each color. ;) ... show more

    • Read before ordering: Sizes are misleading for newbies!
Size: 4X-Large Color: Red
The quality is evident, the material is great. The only problem I had with this is that we have never ordered a corset before, so when my girlfriend ordered it, she went by the sizes indicated in the dropdown. According to the tape measure, her waist was 37", so we ordered her the 4XL which states that it is for 35"-37" waists. When the item arrived, we came to understand what this measurement means. It means that 37" is the SMALLEST that the corset will close to. To state it another way, this means that with the ribbon in the back pulled so that both sides of the fabric are touching, 37" is the smallest that the corset will get. This meant that the corset ended up fitting her like a Tshirt - which, obviously, is not how a corset should fit. It's supposed to be tight and cinch your waist down to give you a shape. Having learned, we've returned the item and we're ordering the XL. The way we see it, the ribbon in the back gives you a lot of leeway to loosen so it can fit appropriately. ... show more
