I absolutely love these glass straws! At first, I thought, "Such a bad idea!" Nevertheless, I decided to try them because I'm trying to make my household plastic free, especially my kitchenware. Not to mention how bad plastic and metal straws taste! The straws come in an awesome assortment of bent ones and straight ones, along with covers and cleaning brushes. When they arrived, I was amazed at how thick the glass is on these straws. My family always treats them delicately, but as my manner is, I inevitably dropped one on the floor and was surprised that it didn't break. They also fit nicely into my 40 oz. Reduce cup with no gaps, and the length is perfect. The only real concern I have is my tendency to break the ice cubes up in my cup with my straw so it can reach the bottom, which I have always done with my plastic or metal ones. As durable as these glass straws are, I'm pretty sure they won't hold up to all the pounding through big ice cubes if I happen to forget. That would be on me, though, as the vendor clearly states in the description that even though these are borosilicate, they can break. And, of course, it's just commons sense. So far, I've done well, though, by simply using a butter knife or chopstick. The best thing about these straws is that our beverages taste so much better because they don't stain or have an unpleasant taste, and they're so much easier to clean, especially with the included brushes that reach through the entire straw. Unlike plastic straws, glass maintains the chill of your beverage as you sip away, too. And the straw covers are really handy for keeping gunk out of your straw, especially if you own pets or live in the southern U.S. where your drinks are the target of countless bugs. And there's nothing more annoying than my long-haired cat parading on my desk near my drink. Or (a personal pet peeve) someone reaching over my drink. I think they're really pretty, too. Using these glass straws also means less plastic waste and less toxicity in the environment as well as in our bodies. Who can argue against that? Overall, I can't be happier with these straws. They work great for my family, and if you hate plastic as much as I do, then you can't go wrong with these glass straws.

I’ve been looking for straws that work with my metal and glass tumblers, and these are perfect! I don’t have to worry about them falling in, and they’re wide enough for smoothies. The thicker design makes them sturdy and less likely to break. Overall, exactly what I needed. Plus, the cute covers on top are a great touch! :)

This such good value for the money. You get so many straws and straw covers. The covers themselves are very well made and believe me I've bought some pretty cheaply made ones that broke after the first use. The straws are wide enough to use for smoothies and thicker fluids. It also makes me feel better knowing that I am not adding to the landfills by using single use straws. They are very easy to clean, I just plop them in the dishwasher and they come out super clean. The length is perfect for a 45 oz Stanley cup if you were wondering. I highly recommend these.

I prefer glass straws over metal. I’m believe metal is not good for you. With these you get 6 very long straight glass straws and 6 very long bent glass straws. Each straw has their own silicone cover and 2 cleaning brushes. The glass feels strong and smooth. One of my water container lids has a smaller opening so these do not fit but they do fit another water container I have. There are plenty if you break one. It’s nice having the choice to use a straw straw or bent one. The included cleaning brush is long enough to get all the way down to the bottom of the straw. You just can’t go wrong with these.
