I got the bent 8mm straw set. They're great go-to, everyday straws, but I would say the 8mm is too narrow for smoothies. I didn't choose these for that, though, so I'm happy with them at an affordable price. I really like the choice of colors, too. I'm working on getting different straws, mainly for guests, and these are the first silicone ones I've ordered. They're good straws and I recommend them!

I love these straws! They’re sturdy but still flexible enough to be comfortable, and the different colors make them easy to tell apart. The little brush makes cleaning simple, and they even come with a bag so I can toss a few in my purse. I’ve been using them for iced matcha and smoothies and they hold up great. A really good switch from disposable straws.

It took me a minute to get used to drinking from a silicone straw, to be honest. But I absolutely love these straws and I use them daily for my iced green teas. Pros: They are super easy to clean. They came with a cleaning brush too, in case you don’t have one. They seem to be dishwasher safe! I told my husband not to put them in the washer, but as I was unloading the other day I noticed he had put one in. It was totally fine. They are silicone, after all, and I’m not sure if the manufacturer has advised against dishwashing or not. Still, I prefer to clean mine by hand. They come with a cute storage bag! Cons: I really can’t think of too many cons. It still feels awkward to me to drink from a silicone straw, but that’s just me and my neuroses I guess. If you like to swirl your ice around or, I don’t know, push things around with your straws, these aren’t good for that. They bend (of course), so they aren’t strong enough really to move ice around. But then, that flexibility can also be seen as a good thing to some. In the end, I really like my straws. They replaced all of the old plastic straws that came with my travel cups and thermoses that my husband lost or threw away lol. And I’m quite happy with them!

I purchased these because I’m trying to slowly make small lifestyle changes to “go green.” With the amount of straws that end up in the ocean, I wanted to do my part to try and reduce that. Not only do you receive 10 straws, which is PLENTY if you’re keeping them clean, they’re durable, easy to use, BPA free, come in cute colors (or not for the men who don’t prefer pastels), come with a little bag for storage so you can keep them in your purse, also include a brush which makes it easy to clean them entirely, and the best part? By leaving a review, you ensure 100% of proceeds go to Oceana, a nonprofit for ocean conservation. I couldn’t be more pleased. I soaked these in hot water and soap overnight, as they do have a silicone-like weird smell initially, and to get them clean. Since they are flexible, they’re easy to bend and get the brush inside of to clean out any residue. I recommend keeping five clean at all times, and then keeping five in your bag so you can just swap them out as needed, and always have one for a friend or partner to show them the benefits of saving the oceans. Overall, I’m in love with these, and if I can do something so simple just to do my tiny part, I’m happy. If only everyone else would.
