I was concerned that the material was too thin, but this has survived multiple wears and washes and still looks and fits great. The only real flaw is the folded button lapels, no real need for that and if you aren't buttoned up then they slip out quite a bit. Doesn't look bad,but it's a little annoying. Otherwise, the shirt looks good. Color is bold and nice, and works alone or with a shirt underneath.

If you are a older, pale-skinned Alaskan of Scots ancestry, it can be just a wee bit challenging to pull off a compelling 'suave, tropical, gentleman' look. Somehow though, this shirt makes it possible. Well, almost, anyway. :) Seriously, if you want a light but not flimsy, stylish but not garish, cool and comfortable but not translucent summer shirt perfectly suited to cruising in the convertible, hanging out on the beach, going out to dinner, and dancing at dusk under the string lights of a cabana somewhere in the South Seas, this is your shirt. Also works well whilst slacking it under a patio umbrella in your own backyard. I got two on spec, and such is my experience with online clothes shopping, that I probably wouldn't have had done had it not been for the 'free returns' policy. Happy to say that these will not be getting returned, and once I validate how they stand up after a few washings, I am planning to pick up a couple more, because finding a good shirt is hard enough, but finding a good one at a price point that makes you feel clever for having gotten such a good deal is a real rarity. For reference, I am five foot eight, about 200 pounds, stocky/muscular build, and the Large fit quite well - not at all snug (I don't want that in hot weather), but not at all sloppy either. I imagine the medium would be fine if I was looking for something more fitted. Being a little on the shorter side, I also appreciate that the fit is probably designed for 5'10", rather than 6'. Could it be a little more perfect if it was tailored to my exact size? Sure. But the hemmed edge lies perfectly under the curl of my fingers, the sleeves end well above my elbows, and I don't suffer from looking like I am wearing someone else's shirt, which can sometimes be the case with mass market clothes - I would guess these would fit well for most guys from about 5'7" to 6'1" who plan to wear it untucked. Finally, I would add that the number of compliments and the amount of positive feedback I have gotten, especially from the ladies, is really quite surprising, particularly at my age. I kinda supposed that some of the other commenters here might have been talking a little trash, but no, even my wife of 30-odd years holds my arm a little tighter when she sees another female look in my direction. You know, just to make her claim clear. Gotta love that. :) Eat your heart out, 'I don't often drink beer, but when I do, I prefer XX' guy. I bought two of these shirts to wear on vacation. They worked out great. Very comfortable and I was able to wear them from touring the city streets straight to a nice restaurant for dinner. Nice linen like fabric. The fit was as expected, but on the roomy side.

Nothing fancy here just a decent basic shirt. Says it’s made of linen but not a super high-quality linen. Can’t even tell it’s linen, really looks like cotton. Doesn’t have the lightweight and breathability of high-quality linen but again, it’s a decent shirt otherwise. For the price you can’t go wrong.

Great shirt for the price. Definitely going to buy other colors after buying two on spec. It seems as if a lot of the complaints in other reviews is due to unfamiliarity on cotton/linen blend garments and their care. Pros: -Fabric is nice and breathable -Not too thick or thin, about the same as my other 70/30 cotton linen clothing items. -No noticeable shrinkage after two rinses, a wash, and dry on low heat. Neutral: -Obviously needs an iron after washing and before wearing, as expected with a cotton/linen blend. -Wrinkles easily while wearing, again, to be expected. -Somewhat stiff, but should soften up after multiple washes and wears. Negatives: -Loose threads. Someone clearly didn't properly clean up after they finished their stitch. A bit annoying, but nothing that 5 mins and some nail clippers won't fix.
