  • Fantastic gaming monitor for the price
Display Size: 27 Inches Display Resolution Maximum: 109 Pixels Per Inch Style: AW2725DM
There isn't many reviews on this monitor but for $179 this is fantastic. It's not OLED but it's a nice 10 bit color accurate IPS panel with no ghosting. Mine didn't come with any severe backlit bleeding or dead pixels on arrival. But there is IPS glow , because of the coating it's more apparent. Just keep the brightness down and it looks fantastic. I've seen a lot of people complain about no speakers or headphone jack. Just get a DAC for your console or desktop and buy speakers. It's an excellent monitor that's built solid. ... show more

  • Ultra great monitor
Display Size: 34 Inches Display Resolution Maximum: 110 Pixels Per Inch Style: AW3425DWM
What can I say the Black Friday deal on this was insane. I was able to get a monitor that otherwise I would not normally buy due to the price the features were solid the image is amazing and it looks fantastic the stand is durable and probably the best one I've ever seen. I would recommend this for gamers and just about anyone who needs a monitor for their setup you won't be disappointed ... show more

  • Great Quality
Display Size: 34 Inches Display Resolution Maximum: 110 Pixels Per Inch Style: AW3425DWM
I was a little skeptical because I k ow Alienware are know for being over priced but this one I think was under priced. It provides great quality honestly I haven’t had a monitor this good. It just performed great for gaming and photo editing. It allows you to see true colors. And the size is just perfect allows me to exchange it for 2 monitors I had previously so it takes up less space. ... show more

  • Fantastic Product w/ Downsides
Display Size: 27 Inches Display Resolution Maximum: 109 Pixels Per Inch Style: AW2723DF
I purchased this monitor a year ago after extensive research. I was looking explicitly for a monitor that had an IPS panel, a fast response rate, a high refresh rate, was QHD, and offered a great warranty. The Alienware offers all of these, at a great price. I’ll list the pros and cons that I’ve experienced over the year of owning this product. Pros: - IPS w/ 98% SDR/HDR color calibration out of the box - High SDR Brightness - 280hz Refresh Rate - 0.5ms Response Rate w/ overdrive - QHD (2560x1440) - Build quality is top tier - Zero ghosting - No flicker - Freesync Pro works with AMD/Nvidia cards - 3 year warranty out of the box from Alienware Cons: - Backlight Bleed is noticeable on black wallpapers or in very dark scenes, probably one of the worst I’ve seen. This is common with this unit if you search it. For me, it’s not a massive issue because I only use it for bright FPS titles. I have an ultrawide OLED for other games. - Alienware UI is lacking compared to competitors. The UI feels like there’s a lot, but there’s actually not. This is especially true if you try HDR mode, where the panel will lock the color, and brightness settings. Why this is makes no sense to me. - No HDMI 2.1. This doesn’t really matter since it’s not a 4k monitor, but I would assume it would have one since the monitor was released after the currentgen consoles. At the price, it surprised me. I use DP 1.4 either way, so it wasn’t an issue for me. - No speakers. This personally doesn’t affect me as I use either headphones or a surround system. However, it technically is a con. - Mediocre HDR performance. The HDR performance is mediocre at best. The gray uniformity isn’t the greatest because the backlight bleed, which takes away from the highs and lows HDR tries to accomplish. The HDR brightness is also technically below standard. I would recommend SDR, which looks very good anyway. - Semigloss screen coating. The coating appears more matte than semigloss to me, but it’s not bad per say. It’s still good enough to not wash out the colors like some matte coatings, but I definitely feel like calling this semigloss isn’t accurate. I would rather call it lightly matte. Conclusion: - This monitor excels at being a top tier choice at competitive fast moving games like CoD, CS2, Overwatch, Etc. However, it does not excel at games that would be better played on an OLED or MiniLED panel. I own this monitor strictly for FPS titles, and have the OLED AW3423DWF for other games. My use for this monitor is fantastic, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone who plays fast paced competitive games and can push the frames to utilize the refresh rate. ... show more

  • ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (…but also 😬) Alienware 34” Curved Gaming Monitor – AW3425DWM Review
Display Size: 34 Inches Display Resolution Maximum: 110 Pixels Per Inch Style: AW3425DWM
Let me be VERY clear: This is a GREAT budget curved monitor. If you want that immersive wrap-around gaming feel without selling a kidney, this thing delivers. The colors are solid, the brightness is clean, and the curve makes you feel just a little more important than you actually are. Now here’s where I messed up. I made the fatal, unforgivable, absolutely rookie mistake of putting this beautiful, innocent, perfectly fine monitor directly next to an OLED. Listen… If you’ve never compared a normal panel to OLED side-by-side, DO NOT START NOW. Save yourself. Save your expectations. Save your wallet. Because the moment I powered up my OLED and saw those deep blacks, explosive colors, and “I can see into another dimension” contrast, the AW3425DWM never stood a chance. It was like parking a Honda next to a Ferrari — the Honda is great, reliable, budget-friendly… but guess what I’m driving home in? Gameplay on the AW3425DWM was genuinely enjoyable. But once the OLED lit up next to it, my eyes said: “Nope. Not doing this. Return it.” And that’s exactly what I did. So here’s my official verdict: 👍 If you’re NOT comparing it to an OLED: This monitor is fantastic for the price. Great curved experience, solid colors, fast response, everything you’d want in a mid-tier setup. 👎 If you ARE comparing it to an OLED: You’re going to cry, pack it up, and send it back like I did. Alienware makes awesome stuff — but OLED is a different universe. Once you cross over, there’s no coming back. ... show more

Absolutely love this Alienware 34” curved gaming monitor! The ultrawide display is incredibly immersive, with stunning colors, deep contrast, and smooth performance that makes gaming feel next-level. The high refresh rate and fast response time eliminate motion blur, and the curve really pulls you into the action. Build quality feels premium and it works great for both gaming and productivity. Totally worth it for the experience. ... show more

  • Nice monitor with some light bleed
Display Size: 34 Inches Display Resolution Maximum: 110 Pixels Per Inch Style: AW3425DWM
Nice monitor. No physical issues with it. There is significant light bleed around the edges but that’s been referenced many times from professional reviewers with this specific monitor. As long as the room has some light in it, it’s fine.
