  • Fantastic Monitor from Alienware
Display Size: 27 Inches Display Resolution Maximum: 280 Hz Style: AW2723DF
This is one of my favorite monitors I have ever owned and used. The clarity, color accuracy, and overall performance is everything I could've ever wanted in a monitor and it's held up amazingly over time. It's on the slightly bulkier side compared to some of the super high-end monitors but it looks very clean wherever it sits and performs as well as I could as it to. ... show more

  • What you'd expect from an Alienware Monitor (it's really good)
Display Size: 34 Inches Display Resolution Maximum: 180 Hz Style: AW3425DWM
Beautiful monitor and everything works as expected. VA panels are really slept on, but are honestly the best middleground between contrast, features, and price. If you're looking for a nice high quality gaming monitor that can also be used for productivity without fears of burn-in, text fringing, or other issues you get with an OLED panel, this is the monitor for you. ... show more

  • Great gaming monitor
Display Size: 27 Inches Display Resolution Maximum: 180 Hz Style: AW2725DM
It’s my first 27inch 1440p monitor and I love it! The pictures look much better compared to my older 24inch 1080p 165 monitor which I bought last year. The games feel much more immersive. The joystick is easily accessible and I really like that about it because I like to adjust brightness often. I haven’t played with HDR settings much but it looks okay. Don’t forget to set the refresh rate to the maximum (180hz) and the color accuracy to 10bit. It also works perfectly with gsync and my games feel so smooth on this monitor. I bought it during prime day for $199 which was a steal! I also really like the design of the monitor and I think it looks very cool ... show more

  • A Solid Monitor for Gaming for Descent Budget
Display Size: 27 Inches Display Resolution Maximum: 180 Hz Style: AW2725DM
Never really expected Alienware to have their own Monitors, but here we are. Overall this is a great budget gaming monitor if you want to have 1440P experience. It was easy to setup, refresh rate is at 180hz but you must use the Display Port Cable. Luckily it came with both Display and HDMI cables ontop of the power cable. Nice size for 27'' and few nice settings you can fine tune with. Overall I'm very happy with thiss. ... show more

  • Fantastic Product w/ Downsides
Display Size: 27 Inches Display Resolution Maximum: 280 Hz Style: AW2723DF
I purchased this monitor a year ago after extensive research. I was looking explicitly for a monitor that had an IPS panel, a fast response rate, a high refresh rate, was QHD, and offered a great warranty. The Alienware offers all of these, at a great price. I’ll list the pros and cons that I’ve experienced over the year of owning this product. Pros: - IPS w/ 98% SDR/HDR color calibration out of the box - High SDR Brightness - 280hz Refresh Rate - 0.5ms Response Rate w/ overdrive - QHD (2560x1440) - Build quality is top tier - Zero ghosting - No flicker - Freesync Pro works with AMD/Nvidia cards - 3 year warranty out of the box from Alienware Cons: - Backlight Bleed is noticeable on black wallpapers or in very dark scenes, probably one of the worst I’ve seen. This is common with this unit if you search it. For me, it’s not a massive issue because I only use it for bright FPS titles. I have an ultrawide OLED for other games. - Alienware UI is lacking compared to competitors. The UI feels like there’s a lot, but there’s actually not. This is especially true if you try HDR mode, where the panel will lock the color, and brightness settings. Why this is makes no sense to me. - No HDMI 2.1. This doesn’t really matter since it’s not a 4k monitor, but I would assume it would have one since the monitor was released after the currentgen consoles. At the price, it surprised me. I use DP 1.4 either way, so it wasn’t an issue for me. - No speakers. This personally doesn’t affect me as I use either headphones or a surround system. However, it technically is a con. - Mediocre HDR performance. The HDR performance is mediocre at best. The gray uniformity isn’t the greatest because the backlight bleed, which takes away from the highs and lows HDR tries to accomplish. The HDR brightness is also technically below standard. I would recommend SDR, which looks very good anyway. - Semigloss screen coating. The coating appears more matte than semigloss to me, but it’s not bad per say. It’s still good enough to not wash out the colors like some matte coatings, but I definitely feel like calling this semigloss isn’t accurate. I would rather call it lightly matte. Conclusion: - This monitor excels at being a top tier choice at competitive fast moving games like CoD, CS2, Overwatch, Etc. However, it does not excel at games that would be better played on an OLED or MiniLED panel. I own this monitor strictly for FPS titles, and have the OLED AW3423DWF for other games. My use for this monitor is fantastic, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone who plays fast paced competitive games and can push the frames to utilize the refresh rate. ... show more

  • Great for productivity and casual gaming. (Game Dev, 3D Art, etc.)
Display Size: 34 Inches Display Resolution Maximum: 180 Hz Style: AW3425DWM
Very solid monitor, great for productivity and pretty solid for gaming as well, does take some getting used to. If you are gonna game, I'd highly recommend just using any ultrawide monitor for single player games to really get a more immersive experience compared to a traditional 16:9 monitor. Competitive games are a but harder to play for me personally. I'd prefer a 24in or 27in flat 16:9 display but everyone is different. You can definitely see more in your field of view, but the screen often is so wide that you're turning your head often. If you sit far away enough its not bad, but it's noticeably less immersive. Watching movies on this or multitasking or if you're a creative like a game dev or 3D artist, this monitor is for you, although there are cheaper options with similar features. This specific monitor intrigued me because of the 1ms GtG and 180Hz. If you plan on using this for productivity, those specs will not matter. Definitely cheaper options with similar features, but this monitor has solid quality and the Alienware name looks more official irl imo. ... show more
