This chain is very shiny and well made. There is a fine line between wanting a chain that is thin/dainty to make pretty earrings and chain that is so thin/small that you cannot get jewelry cutters into it in order to cut to certain lengths. This hits right in the middle, but leaning towards small/thin. I will be able to cut this to desired lengths to make dangly earrings, and it is not too large so that the earrings look awkward, or the chain to big/wide to show off the bead/gem/charm! I’ve found the quality of the chain to be awesome—tarnishes ever so slightly, but is able to be well maintained with a polishing cloth The only part that I find not quite up to par are the jump rings, as they’re very flimsy and some of them won’t fit into the chain links I’d say this listing is pretty perfect if you’re mainly looking for a good quality chain, but if you’re specifically buying this for the jump rings, then I’d recommend looking elsewhere for stronger jump rings ... show more

Very pretty chain! Very delicate but sturdy enough, the lobster clasp seemed solid as well. Easy to put together with the right tools. The color is great, not brassy and not anemic looking. Helped me rescue quite a few pendants that had broken or lost chains. I even used it for a 14K byzantine cross and it looks stunning. Got this to make a chain for my LV charm. Ordered a gold plated chain from another seller and the "gold" was quite orange. After seeing all the wonderful reviews I gave this a try and oh my word. Comes neatly packaged. The chain is thin but sturdy and is very shiny (more than 14k gold) but the shade of gold is spot on. Matched my pendant perfectly and it was easy to cut and assemble the necklace pieces. P.s this is definetly not a hair tangling chain lol I was worried it was going to be one of those. ... show more
