Bought both the His and Her versions. S/M for me - 5' tall, 140lb. Bought L/XL for hubby, 5'10, 200lb. Male version has a hood. Female version does not. In both robes, the body wraps around almost 1.5x so it's plenty big. The wrists were a little tight, but the sleeves felt great. Would wear well over short sleeve or thin long sleeve top. These are for cold winter nights, tho, not warmer fall nights. They are very thick and polyester so they trap in all the heat. They're so long, the heat isn't gonna escape until the ankles. Wonderful if you have a drafty home or get cold easily but if you overheat easily, this is not the robe for you.

very linty. i have only dryer cleaned this once, but am horrified to do so again. it linted a lot after the first dryer run, low heat. otherwise SO NICE!! partner and I love it. the double lined is super warm, it ties off well. as a small person, as is he, the LARGE made us so comfortable.

I bought this robe for my husband for Christmas. I looked at allot of other ones but I decided to go with this one. The hood is very large and heavy and has a extra fleece material. Which is very soft and cozy. The robe itself is very soft and very warm. He is 6' tall and it goes to his ankles. so it's plenty long as well. It's been a month and the robe is holding up very well. The funny thing is, my husband bought me the exact robe for Christmas as well. We both decided to buy the same robe from so many different options at the exact same time. Good job on making a robe both of us wanted to buy!!!

This company makes the best robes I've ever had. I bought another robe from them like this one but without the sherpa, which I've been wearing for years and loved, but this sherpa one is even better. The red isn't quite as bright as in the pics, which is good since I wasn't wanting bright fire engine red, and the cuffs are sewn up in one spot, which is also fine with me. These robes are very roomy and loose which is how a good robe should be. Thicker & warmer than most other robes I've seen, yet doesn't weigh you down at all. My only complaint: I wish the hood was detachable via velcro. It gets uncomfy when leaning back on it for a period of time. I find myself adjusting it behind my head frequently and I seldom wear it. However, I may use this hood more often than the other robe's since it's sherpa-lined. One thing though, about washing. I immediately noticed how this new robe is a bit longer, and the sleeves too, as well as roomier than the other one, despite being the same size. I realized the other robe was like this too when I first bought it 3 years ago - but slowly shrunk over time due to my washing it in hot water. I assumed hot water was fine since the colors didn't fade much and it didn't tear or pill, and it's certainly much easier for a lazy bachelor than doing a separate cold wash just for the robe. I never would've realized it was shrinking the robe until I got the new one and remembered it's how the old one USED to fit. So don't wash these robes in hot water. Follow the care instructions.
