    • Best Robe I Have Ever Owned
I was in the military for many years and some areas were pretty chilly. I also live in an area with colder weather many months through the year. I am 5 foot 6 inches and weigh 160 pounds, so I am considered an average size. I ordered a large size to ensure I would have a little extra room. I have purchased robes in the past, but they were either too short in the length and arms and/or I could not find one with a hood to keep my head warm when I put my dogs out in the morning. This robe has the most beautiful dark blue color. I did not want a lightweight robe, so this robe is nice and heavy unlike ones I have bought in the past. This robe has a nice soft hood, the sleeves are where they are supposed to be right at the wrist, the length is just above my ankles and as an extra bonus, there are four belt loopholes (2 on each side) in case a person is high waisted. I just adore this robe and I believe I need to order a second one in case they are no longer available. I have noticed many items are just not available since Covid. I read many reviews for various robes and am glad I decided on this one. I was pleasantly surprised it was long enough for a 5'9" woman (ordered large). I cuddle up on my recliner and it will cover my legs. I didn't think I would like the hood, but it does add warmth to the back of your neck. It is plush and comfy. I got this for my mom as one of Christmas gifts. She loves it so much! She loves the hood, how soft it is, and how long it is! She lives where it is super cold in the winters and she likes wearing it on those cold days especially when she has to go to the mailbox.

I was concerned about buying this at first, as I believed it would end up being another cheap robe that was small & light weight. But I was wrong when I picked it up after delivery. It was pretty heavy. We washed it to be safe which it made quite a bit of lent, but after putting it on it was a bit heavy. I really liked it cause it seems to trap the heat & keep out the cold air. I’m a 3x in tops and 2x in pants. I bought the L-XL and it fits well. It’s not huge on me but there’s enough material that it fully closes. This robe is like wearing a teddy bear hug. It’s soft, warm and a perfect weight. I wasn’t sure about the hood but I’m glad I got it. I LOVE this robe.
