I've no idea why it says this has flutter sleeves since it does not have sleeves- it's really a sleeveless dress, which is ok with me. I like that it fits- I seem to be a 14W, a 16 or an 18 in Alex dresses- and I never know which it will be. This 14W fits as if someone hand made it for me. I'm a 42C bust and 5'9"- and a pear- so I like the fuller skirt. The length just brushes the top of my ballet flats. If you are shorter than I am you'll need heels- or you will have to hem the dress. The bodice is fitted and does not gap at all- also no weird puckers, which I've found on some other dresses I tried. The skirt is loose and attractively draped so it is very flattering in the midsection. I bought this for formal nights on cruises, but it would be great as a mother of the bride dress. The dress was as described. It was slightly too large, so had to be returned. I did have to be very careful on the zipper due to sequins etc. the length was perfect for me and I am 5โ€™6.
