Purchased a few gowns and they were either way too big or small or not as pictured. I decided to go with Amazon's "Try before You Buy" for a wedding in October. I also needed something shipped ASAP to allow time for any needed alterations. I ordered 3 gowns, and after trying on the first two, was disappointed in the way the looked and fit, I almost gave up on even trying this one on. As soon as I did, I was amazed at not only the quality of this gown, but how it fit compared to the others. It's very forgiving in areas a woman might want to hide and gives a slim look. It's absolutely stunning and you can't beat the price from Amazon, as other stores sell this same designer gown for double the price! I will need some minor alterations done like the hem, but that is to be expected for me as I'm 53", but I couldn't be more thrilled with this gown!

Wore this dress as the mother of the groom in early November. It was incredibly comfortable (no special undergarments needed thanks to the stretchy material and rouching in the back) and covered my arms & chest with a pretty sheer fabric. Didn't need to worry about bracelets or necklace due to the jeweling. Received tons of compliments. Recommend 100%. Size chart was accurate.

Perfect for my Grandson’s wedding in April! The fit is great! I ordered the size up from what I usually wear. The color is a beautiful deep navy, almost black. The rhinestones are lovely. I’m looking forward to his wedding and now I’m anxious to wear this gorgeous gown.

This dress is elegant to wear as Mother of the Bride/groom! The color is s deep navy. The style is extremely flattering the way it id styled especially in the back where the touching hides any back bulges!! The sheer sleeves with the beading completes the look. Purchased the petite which fits very well but still a bit long and will need to be shortened. Highly recommend for any formal event.

I am 5'6" and found the dress was too long from shoulder to waist and the zipper kind of pooched out and the illusion neckline in the back just kind of looked baggy. I tried it on in a store and the sales clerk who was familiar with alterations suggested trying the same dress in a petite which I had never considered myself as having been. Surprisingly, the petite fit, and even handily fixed the problem of being too long so the dress won't require hemming; so I bought it, end of story. Sadly, I've read some reviews of women who said the dress seemed big but they wore it anyway. I would have kept looking for a dress if it hadn't been for the help of that sales clerk. Too bad the phenomenon of Amazon/online shopping is driving the closing of retail stores, because in some circumstances there is just no substitute for a human being.
