Best trolling motoe plug on the market.

This is the best trolling motor plug money can buy. Pricey, but definitely worth the investment. Easy to plug in and unplug. And easy to connect the wires to. Don't but the cheat twist lock plugs.

Pretty slick.

Very well designed and manufactured product. Worth the money. I completely redid my electrical system on my small sailboat and replaced the funky battery posts that the previous owner had installed for a electric trolling motor. May be a bit tough to install for some but look for installation videos online. A couple of minor complaints are that the cable posts could be larger - primarily on the battery side as, for example, I used 2 AWG wire and associated connectors- from batteries to the connector. Also, one of the female receptacles appears to be slightly loose but I believe gets snugged up once the connectors are mated and tightened.

Outstanding

I was searching for a plug for my boat trolling motor and came across this connector. This thing has been perfect so far. Other plugs that were specifically designed for trolling motors don't even come close. This thing is solid and actually locks in place. I unplug my Minn Kota Terrova every time I charge my batteries and this connector still locks solidly in place. There are two options for the male end of the connector. The downward angle is perfect for trolling motors. There's no stress on the plug, unlike name brand connectors. If your looking for a trolling motor plug, just order this now and don't waste anymore of your time. I was surprised that it wasn't more prevalent during my on line search for trolling motor plugs.

Heavy duty hook up

Definitely leagues better than the factory troller plug. Got this to replace a worn out plug. Based on recommendations from others in a forum. Ran new wires marine 8 gauge from rear battery compartment to bow. Cut hole a little large and mounted in same place. Used heavy duty crimper and professionally finished off the wires. This plug is super secure. No vibrating out in rough or bouncy waters with the twist lock securement. No concerns with voltage loss.

The good... it's the best way to hook up a battery to a trolling motor. The BAD... It's very expensive and they don't supply screws to attach it to my kayak. The UGLY... It was hard to mount on my kayak due to where my hatch is. Overall It's a great product... EXPENSIVE and they are too cheap to provide screws. 4 stars because no screws.

Best trolling plug on the market

I was having problems with my trolling motor in high current and hard use. Turns out my previous plug was getting really warm because of ampreage draw. As well my other plug would come loose during hard jolting when on the way. Well this plug solved all of that. Love the way the wire connects and gives you plenty of room for larger gauge wires. Love the secure way it screws together and stay water tight. I have and will continue to recommend this plug.
