It was very eay to install and was exactly as described. The design is sturdy and doesn't shake while I am typing. I just wish the the gap between the keyboard and the desk was smaller, but I am still able to use with ease.

    • You're paying for the brackets, not the drawer...
I would actually rank this at about 3.75 stars, but it's good enough to round up. First, a note on measurement: When measuring your desk, be aware that the 27" width mentioned in the listing is for the TRAY ONLY. It does NOT count the brackets. Outside to outside width including the brackets is 32" so make sure this thing will fit on your desk. In my case I have about a 1/8th inch overlap on either side of my desk, but ultimately I kind of like it. Gives my desk a sort of industrial look and protects the cheap MDF corners from breaking or swelling. Also note, the bottom of the drawer will sit about 6" below your current desk top, so plan accordingly. You may need to lower your seat (or raise the desk) to get your legs/chair under your desk after installing this. Again, it worked out almost perfectly for me so I have no complaints, but your mileage may vary. In terms of build quality and sturdiness, four stars is about spot on for a product like this at this price. Like the title says, you're basically paying for the brackets and getting a free plastic shelf. These mounts are built to last. The drawer and the connection to the brackets however, will not. The drawer itself is pretty sturdy. The drawer is made from a reasonably thick, well selected plastic (ABS?) that is neither too soft nor too brittle. It sags a bit in the middle when I rest my arms on it, but overall I'm pretty confident in the drawers ability to hold up to daily use (no kids, no nerd rage) for a reasonable amount of time What concerns me is the connection between the plastic drawer and the metal bracket. It's a small, hollow plastic block in a track, covered by a thin piece of plastic, which is then screwed into the metal bracket. With enough rough handling, that tiny little connection WILL break at some point. It will either strip out or crack, it's inevitable. All the stresses are on two small spaces, it's simple physics. All that being said, I would recommend this product to others. It's inexpensive and does what it should. How long it will last is another story, but I'd say it's no more of a gamble than anything else you'd buy these days. This thing actually has the advantage that when it breaks it would be cheap and easy to repair if possible, and if not possible, you have some good quality parts leftover.     • Not adjustable- please read
I forgot the the concept of a keyboard holder being height-adjustable isn’t standard and just focused on ease of use. Now I’m stuck with one that sits too low and makes it tough to have the best posture. Wish I would’ve returned it but I really needed something easy and fast.

Works well and seems fairly well made. My only issue is that you have to pull it out evenly from both sides or it gets stuck and you have to even it back out before contuing.

Working from home on a folding table isn't all that great. I kept making due because we didn't know when we were going back to the office but my wrists were hurting by the end of the day due to the high desk top. Was going to buy a computer desk, but they are far too expensive for my state to get one that has the keyboard height I wanted. Most fixed desks are about the same as my table. This saved the day!. It went together in a couple minutes. I spent most of my time cleaning up the cable mess behind the desk. But now everything is nice and comfortable. The only slightly annoying thing is it is a bit slick so the keyboard can move if you push too hard. But a no-slip pad solves that. And really, it doesn't happen much without a pad. Just a couple times while getting use to the new keyboard position. All in all, very happy with this solution. ... show more
