I am very impressed with the quality of the video quality of these accessory screens. Once you have the setup completed, it is a simple process to set up your laptop no matter where you travel. One thing that needs to be improved is the description of the cabling options and requirements. I am a pretty savvy person technology wise and it took me several iterations, which I came up with on my own accord as there was no real documentation. For example, the USB splitter cable has 2 USB-A plugs, one is Red and the other is black, but there is no description of why this is this way. When I first connected using this method, both monitors were disconnecting and connecting back every 10-15 seconds, there was no indication of what was going on or what was wrong, no errors in any logs. I then switched the wires to the 2 USB jacks on my laptop and immediately both monitors started to work correctly without disconnection any longer. Why is this, no idea, and no idea for sure what the difference is between the red and black USB plug. If I had to guess, I would say that the red plug is the one that the monitors are drawing their power from and the second one if just video signal, but no idea why switching their position on laptop jacks would have any affect. Same thing goes for other wiring methods. Instructions for using USB-C does not indicate that you need to have 2 USB-C jacks on your laptop, one which allows for power and then a second normal one. I have 2 laptops and one does not have 2 USB-C jacks. I needed to buy another power adaptor for this laptop and then a USB hub which had 2 USB-C jacks (one of which also supported power) as I had to plug the laptop power into the normal round power jack, then the power for the monitors to the US hub 2 USB-C ports. However once I overcame these hurdles, I now have a solid way to connect both laptops and am very happy with my monitor setup, just cost me an additional $65. ($40 for additional power adapter and $25 for the USB hub, which took a while to find with 2 USB-C jacks, most only have 1) I recommend this Triple portable monitor as long as you recognize that you will have to mess around with your setup as the chances that you will be able to just plug and go are low. Both my laptops are high end and newer models, one from within the last month and second from about 7 months ago. ... show more

This monitor extender is the best one out there.. Turning one monitor into three monitor has help improved my work efficiency. Email on screen 1,worksheet on screen 2 and Facebook/Amazon on screen 3...The travel pack that come with this monitor is such a great idea that it can conveniently stow the monitor away in a backpack when traveling. So after trial and error, I realized that for most modern laptops, you do not have access to three USBC ports. Most have only two, the extender screens need power and connection, and what's great about this one, is that it only needs one connection to power both screens . Most other models for sale, need two free USB-C ports, and then you also have to worry about charging at the same time because the screens do suck up a lot of power. I like the product. I am addicted to working with three screens, and this makes it possible to do that on my laptop. It was easy to assemble, and I like to quality of the images. But, it is a bit clunky to move. Perhaps it will be OK if I can find a laptop roller that will accept its thickness. Otherwise, I can't envision taking it apart and putting it back together for a two-hour meeting. I'll probably reserve moving it for full-day commitments. Still, I am glad to own it. Having become accustomed to having an additional monitor, this is a good solution for travel. Somewhat heavy and awkward to attach, especially if you're frequently on the move. Once connected, there's no additional set-up required, and it can either use your laptop as a power source or can be plugged in separately. Can also use it to charge your phone. A bit expensive as monitors go. The screen is fragile, so make sure you have a cushioned case to carry it in. The fabric sleeve provided does not offer enough protection. ... show more

UPDATE: After my initial issue I was able to speak with customer service for the company. They listened to my concerns and quickly replaced my product. Not only did they replace it but I believe I received an updated version which was so exciting. I have only used once but so far so good! I purchased this item January 23, 2023 and it is now March 2, 2023 and the product has already broken. In the beginning I really enjoyed this item. The look and style is very sleek, I enjoyed that is clamps to my laptop, and the screen picture is nice. However, after one use, the chords stopped working and I had to change to a different set of chords. Once I was able to figure out the chord issue, I used the screen approximately 5 more times before the hinge broke in half. I was very gentle and always made sure to use the case provided to protect the device in between use. However, the hinge work is not sturdy. Before anyone ask, no, I did not fold it the wrong way or exert any unnecessary force. I opened it and it fell apart. Unfortunately my window of opportunity to return ended last week, so I am at the mercy of the seller and whether or not they will respond to my complaint. ... show more
