I bought these for my husband before we get snow as he walks to work. These boots in my & my husband's opinion are the best boots you will find. The thread on them reminds us of the threads on a new set of tires. They are water proof and the inside is fur lined throughout the whole inside of the boot. That includes the foot area. You can feel the warmth begin as soon as you put them on. It's not winter yet, but I don't believe you will need to wear winter socks with these boots. I highly recommend getting a pair. Size and confort were perfect but couldn't wear any socks. Needed a little more room. I am a female with large, wide feet. I usually wear a size 10, definitely wide. Boot was wide enough for calves which usually is the problem, not this time, they fit.

These are great for cold and/or wet, lots of insulation and waterproof materials. Great deep tread. They are amazing for fit, with velcro strips lower by the ankle, and pull string at the top to go out in deep snow without having to dry them over a heater vent later.

Fur inside is awesome and warm. Easy on easy off with Velcro strap and pull tag in the back. I ordered 1 size larger to allow for thick wool socks. Very comfortable boots Nice tread on sole for snow and ice.
