very sturdy, parts are labeled to match instructions ,they even went as far as to separate every bolt and nut,into their own compartment and labeled to match instructions. no bag of bolts and nuts to sort through. makes assy real easy, does take about an hour to put together, no way around that. but the company did every thing they could do, to make it easy for you. just duplicate a few steps about three times,then join them together. and your done. i would highly recommend this particular item,from this company, who is looking to add a dome to their yard, i am a grand dad with a lot of grand kids from 4 to 10 years old. This is definitely a two person set up. The arms bend if you lay them down while setting up the rest. I would suggest not tightening any of the screws until the very end. Once all set up and all screw points are tightened, this become very sturdy.

Bought this for athletic six year old. Two 30 something guys built it in two hours. Said follow directions and you won’t have a problem. It’s not hard. Just tedious doing the same things over. Very helpful to have a screw driver (or 2) with a socket to tighten bolts. All parts included and color I ordered. ... show more

The perfect size for the yard. My three grandchildren play on it all the time and have a blast. Very time consuming to assemble and instructions are kind of difficult.

Purchased for a 3-yr-olds birthday. She loves it but she came down too hard on one of the “climbing handholds” and suffered a cut between her legs. They are good handholds to climb with, but a little sharp to fall on. I still believe it is fine for a 3-yr-old. It takes time to build, but it’s not so much difficult. Two adults and a 3 yr-old took about an hour to build it. Build the yellow star shapes first. You’ll likely need two people to build. It is very sturdy. We had two adults and an 3 yr old on it at once. Combined weight was about 350-lbs at the top with no problem. It is painted very well with a powder coat. I think the paint will hold up a long time. I expect it to last until my grandson can climb on it (~3-yrs). With the harsh sunlight in NM, I wonder how long the plastic handholds will last. I think some 6 and most 7-yr-olds will not find it challenging or much fun. Buy for younger children and you will get more use out of it. Don’t expect to take apart and store for a while; rebuilding will not be a snap. Keep the instructions somewhere safe. Build where you intend to use; it will not go through single doorways assembled. I believe we used two different metric socket sizes that are not included in the instructions. An Allen wrench is included with purchase. If you have a decent socket set, no power tools are necessary. No nuts or bolts protrude to cause injury. Adult supervision with hands nearby is necessary to keep children safe. I wish I could show her happy face in the pics. I would buy again. I would consider a sand-pit, grassy area, or something softer than the ground to land on.     • Instructions are the worst
The instructions would have you put the top. together first working down. 4 of us worked together for over an hour until we realized it couldn’t be assembled correctly using the instructions. Instead start from the bottom and carefully observe the picture on the box as your guide. I doubt seriously the person or persons writing the instructions ever tried to assemble one poor Product though is 5 star quality ... show more
