I bought this duvet after reading many of the reviews, good and bad. I’m not sure what product the negative reviews received, but I am absolutely in love with this duvet. I recently went back to singlehood, and had to purchase new bedding because I was without. I decided to “splurge” and put together my dream bed, instead of just getting what was inexpensive. I’m SO GLAD I DID! This duvet is thick, light, and so cushy! After reading online I ordered to oversized queen duvet despite the fact that I had already ordered a standard queen size duvet cover. I had read that placing an oversized queen duvet inside a standard queen cover will make the comforter set look more full and luxurious. SPOT ON! I feel like I’m crawling into a cloud at night! I read some reviews that it is very thin. That has not been my experience. It does come out of the package quite thin because of the way it is packed. I put it in the dryer on a low setting for about 30 minutes after opening the package, and she fluffed right up. I’ve been sleeping with this duvet for a few weeks now and I think I’ve seen 2 feathers. I haven’t experienced the feathers escaping the duvet like some reviews may have stated. I covered this beautiful duvet with a velvet duvet cover, layered over bamboo sheet. Then added cooling pillows, with a set of satin pillow cases for my face and hair, a body pillow for my side sleeping, and a pet blanket for the foot of my bed so my k9 bestie has a place too…. The whole setup is honestly making it hard to get up for work. I live in a very warm climate so I think I’ll get a linen duvet cover for the summer or just sleep on top of this with a light blanket. Between this setup and full control of the remote control, it’s good to be home and independent again… ... show more

The comforter did not look anything like the photos after I let it "fluff up" overnight, and tumbled it on low heat in the drier. It filled out a little bit but nothing like the photos. However, it is fairly heavy and dense so I'm sure it would be great in a cold climate, but I'm in Florida. I was expecting something a little more light, poofy, and airy like a cloud. On top of that, I ordered the Snow White color and it isn't even that white, and certainly NOTHING like the photos at least. When you put it next to something that is white, like sheets or a pillow, it looks like an Cream/Ivory color. Pictures dont do much justice, but I posted one of the comforter material next to a bed sheet. So in short: It isn't a true white color. It is much thinner than the photos suggest, and is also dense so it stays warm and feels heavy (if thats your thing). ... show more

Got a new bed so of course had to get new linen n comforter.... this was IT... very soft, very pretty n not sure about the lightweight bcuz is very full n fluffy....n I like that about it.... buy it....I think it will be perfect for the hot n cold months...
