    • Really nice perfume, doesn't feel like a rushed gimmick
First off, I never wear perfume. Most of it gives me a headache, or is too flowery sweet. I bought this perfume mostly as a spur-of-moment nerd thing, with the realization that I might not enjoy it at all. The description made it sound really nice and subtle, so I thought, why not? At the very least I'll have a nerdy nick-knack I can show my friends and we can laugh at the ridiculous attempt at marketing. But I was pleasantly surprised. The description lists "citrus and fresh berries... sensual caramel and honey notes... sandalwood... bitter chocolate, patchouli and praline." I definitely get the berries, caramel, and chocolate, with a nice muskiness, and I've been complimented on it while wearing some. The bottle's nothing too fancy, but I like the small detail of the Latin on it: "fallaces sunt rerum species." Black Widow says this in Iron Man 2, which translates approximately to "The appearances of things are deceptive and the hope of men is deceived," which I think is a nice touch. I don't have any of the other Avengers fragrances, but I would hope they're all like this one. It comes off as a genuine item, not just some merchandising gimmick thrown together to make a quick buck. You don't need much; like any other perfume, a little goes a long way. (Though it usually wears off before the end of day. Like I said, I don't typically wear perfume, but I assume this is normal?) But I might still buy several so I can use it regularly without worrying about it going out of stock once they stop making it. (I'm assuming it's a limited run.) ... show more

My order arrived early and in good condition! (For being bought used). I was a bit wary about how long the perfume scent would last seeing as how most of the reviews say that it tends to wear off rather quickly but I found that if you apply it directly to the skin the scent will last through the day and into the next morning. The scent itself was a little bit unexpected and reminded me a bit of a grandma- but! I found it rather pleasant and suggest it to any Avengers fan out there who's interested in buying. ... show more

    • I bought it because of the reviews, not the (Black Widow) character...she's annoying.
To my nose, it smells a little too much like a man's cologne; but I get a lot of complements. As for longevity, it lasts about as long as any other cologne that's alcohol-based. According to latin-dictionary.org, the definition on the bottle (FALLACES SUNT RERUM SPECIES) means,"The appearances of things are deceptive." Lucius Annaeus Seneca (4 B.C.- 65 A.D.) In all, a pretty good cologne, even though based on a fictional comic book character. I gave it 4 stars since it doesn't entirely smell feminine (to me). ... show more

    • Layered and complex, but done nicely.
This scent is an inquired taste type deal. It smells horrible sprayed straight out of the bottle. However, once I sprayed it on me I couldn't stop sniffing it. The scent is mysterious and inciting. It is a very complex perfume with many layers that end on seductive and lusty notes with out the use of floral scents. If you over kill this perfume you will get the "Old Lady" vibe. If you use just the right amount (one spray), you will want to use this every day and smell it all the time. I can smell the caramel, berries, chocolate and sandalwood. I love this perfume and I use mine every day. I enjoy the Black Widow comics and the perfume is appropriately named. Natasha would totally rock this to drive heros and villains mad! ... show more

This perfume is so BAD it’s actually funny. I would not be shocked if this is 100% fake, or if it’s severely expired and original from 2012, lol. It smells exactly like new tires and gasoline, which, in all fairness, is probably closer to what our girl Nat would smell like after getting out of a few explosive battles. The bottle itself had no protection whatsoever and bouncing around in its packaging ((first red flag)), so the cap is scuffed. The spray cap is damaged and definitely dingy looking. Box was also messy. Overall, unless you’re wanting this to be a display item, don’t buy it. It is so so so gross smelling. ... show more
