Such a beautiful, unique and sweet perfume! The pear is super prominent in the opening, sweetened even more by the praline and whipped cream. However the coconut and whipped cream note don’t really come across as very prominent or creamy. The vanilla, woods, and musk really ground the scent. This lands in the same scent family as Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy or a JPG La Belle. Not a dupe of any of these but follows a similar notes pyramid of fruits on top with a subtle floral mid and a vanilla musk base to the point where they feel in the same family. Great longevity and projection. Might be nice all year around but maybe a bit too sweet for super hot days of summer. ... show more

    • Great performance, sweet and fruity, yet still unisex

Emotion Irisee has an intense opening, comprised primarily of fruity, sweet pear and sour citrus notes. After a few minutes, the other notes begin to develop and the lavender, coconut and vanilla start to shine. The coconut note has the tendency to smell slightly like jasmine at times, until I remember that it's coconut. From around two hours onward, the fragrance smells mostly of sweet cream, coconut, green vanilla and fruit accords. The wood note is in there somewhere, but it is not very noticeable. I don't detect any musk. Overall this is a pleasant fragrance and an effective attention getter. Despite the sweet, fruity nature of the fragrance, I would still consider it to be a unisex scent. Even though it's hard to detect, I think the subtle wood note helps smooth it out and keep it from being too feminine. Longetivty is very good, lasting 12 hours or more. especially with a direct, saturating spray onto the skin. Projection is good, depending on how much you apply. I would say one or two sprays, is usually sufficient with Emotion Irisee, which leaves a detectable scent trail, but doesn't overwhelm once it dries. Too many sprays could be overpowering. I think this one is better being discovered, rather than announced. With two sprays, projection starts at 15 feet or more for about 20 or 30 minutes, then at around an hour diminishes down to 6 feet or arm's reach for the rest of the duration. I would consider this to be a winter, fall, spring fragrance, but if applied sparingly, in a light mist, it could be OK for summer too. The box and bottle are beautiful. The cap snaps securely in place. The atomizer works very well, providing a dense cloud of fine mist. It doesn't drip or leak. ... show more

This fragrance has no staying power.......zero, none, zilch. The scent is BEAUTIFUL but it fades away in less than hour. I am an oversprayer and I have put on 10+ sprays of this perfume but the scent doesn't last. I don't know if I got a bad batch or maybe it needs to sit longer for maceration to take place. I've bought and still own Al Haramain fragrances and they've al been splendid. This one did not do it for me at all. I'll wait ap couple of months and try it again but for now, it's a 3/10 for me. I love the fine mist spray that comes out. It's very soft and blanketing. That being said, this scent didn't end up being for me. The notes all sounded right up my alley, I love citrus and pear notes, but this was too musky for me. It's predominantly sweet vanilla and strong musk. The alcohol also takes a long time to dissipate, so it feels like I'm getting dizzy from one spritz. The bottle itself feels very lux and heavy, which does make an impression but disappointed in the fragrance itself. Will be gifting it to a friend that loves sweet musks. ... show more
