I used this on a textured wall, and I've never installed wallpaper before. Yet it still turned out great. Because the pattern is rough, aged bricks, any flaws are hard to spot. I applied it to a very light colored wall, so even the tiniest gap in the seam would look horrible and ruin the effect. But because the paper is so thin, I just overlapped the joints about an eights of an inch so it appears seamless. I took away one star because the pattern doesn't perfectly line up. But again, because of the rough pattern you don't see it from a few feet away. You know it's fake, but it still looks awesome and adds the impact I wanted. My 5 year-old loves it. ... show more

Looks realistic and easy to do. Pattern is pretty accurate but you have to really pay attention and cut prices accordingly. Great color and good quality. We used water to help to keep it from sticking to quickly while laying it. Then used a hair dryer to help to stick. It is very sticky.

I used this brick peel and stick to add an accent wall in my son’s room. He loved how it turned out! It took my mom and I two 1/2 days to finish it. Once you find your rhythm it’s pretty easy. We found it was easier to put up 1/2 the length of one full sheet. It was a little difficult to line up, but we made it work. It’s pretty durable and about the same thickness as wallpaper.     • Toxic smells!!
The smell was unbearable. Ended up ripping down and throwing in the trash can outside. This is great if you love the stench of toxic formaldehyde and volatile organic compounds hitting you in the face every day when you enter your home. It seriously stinks so badly.

Even though the product stated to be applied to smooth walls only, because it was at such a great price I decided if it didn't work on my kitchen backsplash I'd just take it down and throw it away. BUT....it worked perfectly over an already tiled backsplash. The tiles were not grouted and were a bit rough in texture so I'm sure that's why I had no trouble. The paper adhered great and it was very easy to match the brick pattern. As one other reviewer stated, which I took her suggestion as well, started the paper on the LEFT side of the wall! The pattern matches easily then. Look for the dark brick and also the one that has a lot of white patterning on it and you'll have no trouble. The finished wall looks like a real brick wall and the color of the red brick is a very nice darker merlot type color, not red. Very pleased with my purchase! ... show more

This pattern doesn't match up. I'm flabbergasted. It will line up for a few bricks and then it's completely off. The good news is, it's a very forgiving pattern. I Frankensteined it together and it looks great. But if you are expecting full strips, this wall paper is not for you.
