Even though the product stated to be applied to smooth walls only, because it was at such a great price I decided if it didn't work on my kitchen backsplash I'd just take it down and throw it away. BUT....it worked perfectly over an already tiled backsplash. The tiles were not grouted and were a bit rough in texture so I'm sure that's why I had no trouble. The paper adhered great and it was very easy to match the brick pattern. As one other reviewer stated, which I took her suggestion as well, started the paper on the LEFT side of the wall! The pattern matches easily then. Look for the dark brick and also the one that has a lot of white patterning on it and you'll have no trouble. The finished wall looks like a real brick wall and the color of the red brick is a very nice darker merlot type color, not red. Very pleased with my purchase!

I love this stuff! It’s good quality, easy to use, and looks very realistic ( the photo doesn’t really do it justice). I didn’t order enough for what I initially wanted to do, so I improvised. One of my customers asked if I had an artist come in to paint a mural. It looks great!

Bought this for our basement renovation. The first panel went up without a hitch, but the following ones were difficult to line up. As you pull the backing off, the paper stretches just enough so that the bricks are just enough off to notice. Ended up cutting multiple smaller sheets to help with that. Also, the second roll seems to be printed a little differently than the first, so (again) lining up the bricks was a challenge. We would get 4 or 5 brick rows in and the lines would be off. Overall, I'm happy with how it turned out. The paper was still sticky even after multiple times of peeling and repositioning, and didn't do any damage to our new paint. The color is exactly how it looks in the picture. I'm definitely glad to be done with it, though lol

Buy what you need because if you cut or try to line it up the bricks will be off but it’s ok. Did it for my entry way and it looked realistic and I got many compliments best to have step stool or small ladder and 2 people is better so you can have one holding and one slightly stretching while applying it! You will be happy with outcome as if you just laid some bricks lol

Let me just say, I was skeptical. But have an old house and the labor to try and get 100 year old, beat up walls looking halfway decent was going to be a challenge. My house happens to be red brick, so I thought, why not give this a shot? At $7-13 per roll, I was not expecting much. What I got was a pleasant surprise! From a few feet away, it is a challenge to recognize this vinyl paper as not the exterior brick wall. Blown away by how good it looks for very little money. Wasn't difficult to apply, and I found one "brick" that was easy to line up with the next panel. Yes, as you go through the roll, you may have to fine tune/adjust the bricks print as it alters slightly. Didn't find this difficult. Have a razor knife on hand, and slice at a "mortar/bick" line, and readjust as needed. (my walls are 100 years old, so there may be rougher areas. As for any air bubbles? I just either peeled back and readjusted the piece, or made a small slit and pressed air out. Easier with 2 people, 1 makes the initial line up, and person #2 holds the weight of the roll and helps keep vinyl from curling in and sticking on itself. As for stickiness...I had one corner that sisn't want to stick. I picked up some 3M spray adhesive. Hit that corner and so far so good. I did not expect much from this, but wow...I was impressed for the cost and ease of application. Terric for a quick fix!I am attaching a photo. Not sure if I'm going to do an inside wall with brick motiff, because if this company makes other prints, that' the direction I am going. VERY pleased!

Bought THREE of these and NONE of them lined up with each other. Had to do an extra two hours just cutting 4 rows of brick and lining up each of those. Waste of resources. There's a reason they're only $6 each.

The biggest struggle was was getting the tape off of the roll to start. Other than that it was super easy (even with three kids around pestering me to help-I did it by my self. No extra hands but no complaints) A bit of material wasted because of the slope of the ceiling and matching up the brick but I expected that and accounted for it accordingly. Also it wasn’t so sticky that the pieces got stuck together but it was sticky enough that it’s up and I can readjust it if needed. THE QUALITY OF MATERIAL WAS GREAT because the ONLY thing I was worried about was the bright blue wall underneath that this was potentially going to hide. 10/10 no color coming through so I didn’t have to paint a neutral color underneath. I do wish I had a box cutter or something because it would have been easier to cut than with scissors. Would, %100 buy again and already trying to figure out a new project to use this product on… suggestions are appreciated! Also, this was installed in a child’s bedroom with walls covered in who knows what… I didn’t not clean the wall before hanging but notice no issues! Again 10/10 for the cover up and the material feels like it would clean very easily

As much as I love the look of this and get compliments on how real it looks, I don't not recommend if you are using it on a blank wall with nothing to hang on it. The grout lines of the bricks and bricks itself are absolutely impossible to match row by row no matter where on the next sheet to try to match with the subsequent sheet. It was such a pain to hang for this reason. Since I am using it in a booth and hanging lots of frames on it, it's easier to hid the unmatched seams.
