These cork squares were flat, square, and had dense small particles. I expected them to have a coarser grain, be bowed and rough edges, but these were good. They had very square corners, none were chipped or damaged. The back has a white paper backing you peel off and there is a double sided tape over the entire back. I washed the wall, let it dry, washed my hands, used a bubble level to get the first one up level and plumb, then just abutted the 12 squares together. You can see the pretty good edges in the closeup photos. I'll try to come back here and modify this if the adhesive lets go. ... show more
