Description

Unlimited playability, killer tone, and a scorching flame top ensure that the AKLOT LP electric guitar is a special guitar. It employs the tried-and-true rock ‘n’ roll formula — maple and poplar — and combines it with a set of premium humbuckers to create a thick wall of aggressive, rich tone. The single-cutaway body is expertly carved to provide seamless upper fret access, allowing your hand to glide past the 17th fret with ease, without the wrist strain typically caused by bulkier, beginner-level electric guitars. The contoured heel joint reduces obstruction where the neck meets the body, so solos and high-register chords feel natural and controlled. Combined with the guitar’s balanced weight distribution, this ergonomic design allows for both comfortable seated practice and stable standing performance The AKLOT Solid‑Body LP electric guitar features a matched pair of carefully voiced humbuckers, enhanced by a push/pull coil‑split switch for versatile tonal shaping. In standard humbucking mode, the pickups deliver everything from clean, chime‑like jazz chords to the saturated crunch of hard‑rock riffing, while engaging the coil‑split function transforms the sound into bright, articulate single‑coil tones ideal for blues, funk, and crisp lead lines. The AKLOT Solid-Body LP Electric Guitar boasts gleaming black-nickel hardware that dazzles like fine jewelry. Its precision-tuned sealed tuners and sturdy, corrosion-resistant bridge blend elegance with strength, offering not just stunning looks but a performance that’s as smooth as silk and as reliable as steel. Every AKLOT electric guitar is not just a mass-produced instrument – it’s a handcrafted masterpiece, built with precision by our skilled artisans. From the shaping of the neck to the installation of the electronics, every detail is carefully crafted to deliver a dynamic, full-bodied sound that stands out. Whether you need setup assistance or encounter any issues, our team is always here, offering expert advice and fast solutions to keep you rocking without a hitch. How to Tune the AKLOT Lorien Electric Guitar? After tuning your Lorien electric guitar to standard pitch, gently pull the strings upward to help them settle and break in with the tuners/bridge. Re-tune to standard pitch 2-3 times for optimal tuning stability. Why Does My Electric Guitar Sometimes Produce a Buzzing Sound? Especially when using distortion or overdrive channels, you may hear a buzzing sound. This is a common characteristic of all passive pickups worldwide. When you touch the strings, your body grounds the guitar and cancels out the noise. What is the String Gauge for the Lorien Electric Guitar? The Lorien electric guitar comes with 10-46 gauge strings, offering a balanced tone and feel. If you change the strings, be sure to adjust the string action afterward. A low action can negatively impact both tone and tuning stability. What is the Fingerboard Radius of the Lorien Electric Guitar? The fingerboard radius of the Lorien electric guitar is 305mm. This moderate radius provides a comfortable balance between smooth chord playability and easy string bending, making it ideal for various playing styles on a full-size electric guitar. What is the Scale Length of the Lorien Electric Guitar? The scale length of the Lorien electric guitar is 24.75 inches. This standard scale length provides a bright, clear tone and excellent string tension, making it ideal for a wide range of playing styles. Unleash Your Rhythm with Precision & Power! • Generous kit and really great sound
This guitar plays and sounds really great. I love the sustain and the variety of sounds from the pickups thanks to the coil split function. I had no problems dialing in a good sound and the excellent feel of the guitar makes you want to play it more. The pickups have a great tone with thick bass response on the middle and neck settings. The tuners feel high quality. The finish is beautiful and the guitar looks and feels much more expensive than it is. The neck is roasted maple which is more stable and more solid than traditional maple and the fretboard is Jatoba - or Brazilian Cherry that is similar in hardness to ebony. Those two features will likely make this a more reliable guitar as the neck isn't as prone to shrinkage or climate-related issues. The poplar body has a warm resonant sustain that adds to the quality tone of this instrument and was a good choice as the guitar is balanced and a reasonable weight. The neck is smooth and the fretboard is comfortable to play. The controls feel high quality and everything looks so cool with the black nickel hardware. The case is a nice bonus and I was surprised that the guitar included so many gifts. I appreciate the generosity of the seller. Thank you for a great guitar kit at a great price. ... show more

  • Worth Every Penny!
Color: Violet Venom
Worth what you pay. Excellent version of a Les Paul for anyone (like me) who prefers a larger scale length (so that the high frets aren't as cramped), liked 24 frets as opposed to 22 frets, prefers one master volume knob and one mast tone knob instead of separate ones for each pickup, prefers the pickup toggle switch to be on the bottom instead of the top, and loves the "paint job" (which looks wonderful even though it's just a print behind gloss). Even the pickups, while unfortunately microphonic, sound GREAT. They even have coil splitting abilities (which work now, despite not working per previous reviews). I get that some people don't like low output pickups, but I enjoy it as it matches classic rock from the 60's through the 90's. Cons: The weight is still as heavy as a Les Paul, which I absolutely despise but expected. The headstock is of the Les Paul variety (I would have preferred a PRS style head stock). That means I fear it snapping off if it falls. As stated above, the pickups are microphonic, meaning they pick up loud sounds and are therefore bad for stage performances if you have a lot of sound on your stage. All in all, you get WAY more than your money's worth. I paid $144 for the Purple LP one, and I'm amazed at what I received. Obviously you have to change the strings, tweak the intonation, and set the action where you like it, but that's expected on any mail-in guitar order. Lastly, the fact that it came with a gig bag, guitar chord, tuner, guitar strap, and allen wrench, is all pretty amazing. Couldn't imagine having received this back when I was a kid. My GOD what a great deal! ... show more

  • Very impressive fretwork
Color: Obsidian Black
I did not expect this to be as high quality as it was, given the low price. The neck and frets were particularly impressive, I ran over with the fret tool and was 99% perfect. It was not worth adjusting a single fret, the fret ends were not sharp. The neck is very smooth and straight. The frets were a little green, no corrosion texture or anything, just a wipe with a fret eraser is all it needs, which ubiquitous for every import guitar. I lowered the string action a bit, but it's very easy to do with this style of bridge, just two thumb wheel adjustments and it's great. I intonated the G string back a tad, but other than that, it's came better than my Gretsch or Strat. Every guitar needs a bit of setup, but this has required the least amount of work. I'm not sure if the description states it or not, but the top seems to be printed flame maple, not actual flame maple, which is totally fine and expected for this price. I might prefer a perfectly aligned but printed pattern over a poorly aligned book-matched top. Overall, It's been a fantastic purchase. I heard in several Youtube reviews that the pickups aren't the best quality and that the push-pull pot wasn't connected correctly, That has not been my experience, the pickups sound great and the push-pull works great on the one I got. Perhaps they adjusted from the YT feedback. ... show more

  • great design and build for the money!
Color: Obsidian Black
For starters. This company has created a very nice shaped urgo designed body no this guitar! The finish is exceptional! The neck wood is gorgeous! and very well made! Hard to believe for such a reasonable price! However, they get 4 stars for a few reasons. Here are the few things I found wrong with this. Luckily I am able to fix all of them. but a beginner would have no clue. As others mentioned, the switch was not wired in, (the support sent me a diagram on wiring). The ground to the bridge bar was not working. Turns out the coating they used is non conductive. I had to sand off some of it on the screw and any place the bar touched to get it to have continuity. There was a small crack on the back side of the neck joint. Looks like a stress crack. The string height was a bit high and the intonation was a bit off. I fixed both. The frets were not polished very well, the fret board wood (Jatoba) was very dry and needed oiling. and the tuning machine nuts were loose. All of this was fixable. Now the guitar plays great! The weight of the guitar is about 8lbs. The pickups are Alnico (probably 5) and sound pretty good once I set their proper height! The carrying case is pretty nice, and the little goody bag you get with it is a great perk! especially if you were a beginner. It even has a instruction manual and "how to" included! I contacted the company, and their customer support was excellent and helped me through these issues. I really recommend this instrument, if you have some luthier skills or know someone who can do a setup for you! ... show more

  • Single cut plays like a nice TELECASTER!
Color: Obsidian Black
Lightest single cut ever. pickup power is ok and if you are recording the coil split significantly reduces noise STAY With ME but it still has a lovely growl so you don’t have to completely lose all your BITE! Also if you’re working out a part it helps subdue the overtones so you can hear what you’re doing very well CAUTION this instrument does not play like a single cut but a TELECASTER I’m serious if you don’t like playing tele you won’t like it but if you do you should be smiling cause now you know the truth and 70% of my many dozens are telecasters close your eyes you won’t believe it ... show more

  • Defective switch but an otherwise very good guitar... see review.
Color: Obsidian Black
I received it with a defective pickup selector switch. The box was battered so it could be on the shipper, not the manufacturer. I'm returning this but giving Aklot one more chance because of the following upside: The guitar looks great. Mine came in "Obsidian Black" which looks terrific and is $40 less than other colors, only costing $129.99. The all blackout hardware really has a cool factor. Score. The rounded body edge and belly carve are comfortable. The deeply contoured cutaway gives easy access to all 24 frets, which is a plus. The intonation was well setup from the factory. Pickups sound great and a coil splitter at this price is very unusual. I appreciate that the matte finish on the back of the neck is kept to a minimum. I can feel the wood and I don't like high-gloss finishes that make my hand stick. It weighs in at a solid 8 pounds, and feels tight and secure. No tuning instability means the hardware is good quality, except for the switch. It won't stay in any position except middle, which activates both pickups together. The coil splitter works beautifully and gives so many tonal option for a budget guitar. The action is reasonably light, the frets are all smooth with comfortable rounded ends. Simplified electronics means only one volume and tone knob that control both together as a cost-saver, but that works for me. QC is my only issue, and if I had a spare switch, this would most definitely be a keeper. This is worth a second chance, and I will put it through its paces and re-evaluate the replacement. Anything with this much upside at such a low price deserves another chance. ... show more

  • Amazing guitar for a low price.
Color: Obsidian Black
Rather shockingly great guitar for a low price. I had to do very little “set up” work to make this perfect. Feels great. Nice tone. After set up, action is perfect. Maybe it’s a fluke, but I got a super guitar at a low price.

  • Great for the price
Color: Obsidian Black
Ive already bought their flying v and was very happy with it so I got this one. The price was too good to pass up . Its definitely playable out of the box . Just had to lower the bridge and tune it up. Everything works as expected and the coil split is a nice little added bonus. Im probably going to upgrade everything like i do with most of my guitars but its out of preference not necessity . If you're on the fence , id say just get it . For the price its a no brainer. ... show more
