Features

  • 24 Frets Designed for Lead-Focused Players: Built for modern lead work, the 24-fret neck offers easier access to high notes, smoother bends above the 12th fret, and a more fluid feel for soloswithout the cramped upper-fret experience of traditional LP designs.

  • Modern Scale Length for Drop Tuning Stability: The 25.5" scale length keeps lower tunings tight and defined, helping maintain clarity and string tension when tuning down. Well-suited for half-step down, Drop D, and heavier modern styles as your playing evolves.

  • Very impressive fretwork
Color: Obsidian Black
I did not expect this to be as high quality as it was, given the low price. The neck and frets were particularly impressive, I ran over with the fret tool and was 99% perfect. It was not worth adjusting a single fret, the fret ends were not sharp. The neck is very smooth and straight. The frets were a little green, no corrosion texture or anything, just a wipe with a fret eraser is all it needs, which ubiquitous for every import guitar. I lowered the string action a bit, but it's very easy to do with this style of bridge, just two thumb wheel adjustments and it's great. I intonated the G string back a tad, but other than that, it's came better than my Gretsch or Strat. Every guitar needs a bit of setup, but this has required the least amount of work. I'm not sure if the description states it or not, but the top seems to be printed flame maple, not actual flame maple, which is totally fine and expected for this price. I might prefer a perfectly aligned but printed pattern over a poorly aligned book-matched top. Overall, It's been a fantastic purchase. I heard in several Youtube reviews that the pickups aren't the best quality and that the push-pull pot wasn't connected correctly, That has not been my experience, the pickups sound great and the push-pull works great on the one I got. Perhaps they adjusted from the YT feedback. ... show more

  • Solid Guitar with Great Sound!
Color: Phantom Black
I’ve been playing for a few years now, and I gotta say, the AKLOT Lorien Phantom Black is a sweet guitar. The roasted maple neck is super smooth and fast, making it easy to play, and the humbuckers give a nice, clear tone, perfect for both clean chords and rocking solos. The single-cut design is really comfortable, and I can play for hours without wrist pain. Plus, the luminous position markers are a lifesaver on stage! This guitar is definitely beginner-friendly but also solid enough for more experienced players. Love it! ... show more

  • Great “real” guitar. Great price.
Color: Storm Blue
Very good guitar. I like the playability, the string height was great for me, close to the neck. Lightweight. Haven’t played it long enough to know all its nuances, but plays great. It’s a great guitar. Most definitely priced for the common everyday man… worth a lot more in my opinion.

  • Top quality craftsmanship
Color: Obsidian Black
Guitar came out the box professionally done. No set up needed. Intonation is spot on and low string hight for shredding. Tuners feel like quality made tuners. Guitar nut stays in tune and no string sticking. A slight fret sprout but manageable. Frets feel a little scratchy when you bend the strings, so needs a 220 or lighter grit polishing. Tone / volume/ toggle knobs quality as well. The scale length from the nut to bridge needs to be longer for adult hands but I would say this a perfect Guitar for 16 under beginner guitarist. The first 12 frets are do-able but then after the 12th frets start to ger pretty crammed together. Definitely not not playing any chromatic scales at the 24th frets =) All in all a very good quality built. I'd suggest buying the strat style Aklot if you have fat fingers. ... show more

  • Package falls short
Color: Storm Blue
I got the storm blue. I commend AKLOT for trying to put together a guitar package, but they missed on some points. Here's the pros: perfect build quality (due to CNC machines), roasted neck with decent tuners, nicely finished frets, really good photo flamed looking top, nice body finish. I was attracted to this design as it reminded me of the ESP LTD models with the same 24 3/4" scale and control layout. The cons: if this is a 'starter' guitar, then it's a bit heavy, although I like the weight which feels solid. All the 'extras' are a waste, and they should have put more consideration into a thicker gig bag. The pickups measured 9 K each. I would have preferred a hotter bridge pup around 12 K or more. The coil tap produces an output of around 4.5K on each pup which is really thin. The pickups seemed to be wax potted as I heard no squealing and nice feedback tones. No shielding paint anywhere and non-shielded wiring (typical for China guitars as this is always a cost cutting issue). I always add shielding paint into these guitars. The bridge is barely grounded, and I hate when these manufacturers use nickel-plated or black hardware with no conductivity for grounding. I would better appreciate standard chrome. Any pickup upgrades would have to be open coil, not chrome covered. The luminous dots are too small and barely light up and who ever plays on a completely dark stage? There's was just too much work and extra cost involve to mod this guitar, so I returned it. The guitar might work for other players, but not me. Update: AKLOT reached out to me a couple of times to ask questions about my return. I commend them again for caring about their products and good customer service. ... show more

  • Best guitar at this low price tag!
Color: Inferno Burst
Buy it! This guitar is beautiful and very well made! 24 frets make it easy to play on the lower frets. The action is very low as well. The ergonomics is unbeatable in my opinion. It weighs only 6.6 lb. The guitar bag and accessories are all well made. A superb guitar package at such a low price tag!
