I’m not a pool‑hall pro; I’m the type who grabs whatever cue is lying around the bar, the friend’s garage, or what's on the wall at the arcade. This past summer at the condo there was a fancy pool table, and I used the sticks there, and was just like "meh" these are the sticks, let's play pool. Always have a great time, either way. I’ve always wanted a cue that was actually mine, something that feels solid, looks decent, and won’t fall apart after a couple of games. When I stumbled on this cue, the sales text promised a “fantastic cue for any skill level,” and I thought, “why not give it a try?” Out of the box the cue felt surprisingly hefty in a good way. Not super heavy like the ones I use to break, but nice and even like the ones I use during the game. I don't even know the weights, lol. Even though I've been playing since college. The maple shaft is straight and smooth, and the pro‑taper gives it a nice balance that makes my strokes feel more controlled than the random sticks I’ve used before. The weight (around 20 oz) is right in the middle of what I’d expect for a beginner, and the optional weight system means I could swap to a lighter or heavier feel later if I ever wanted to experiment. The printed grip has a subtle non‑slip texture that stays firm even after a few hours of play. It’s not bulky, just enough to keep my hand from sliding when I’m lining up a tricky cut. The multi‑layer leather tip is already shaped and ready to go, and it actually bites the cue ball a bit better than the cheap plastic tips I’ve had in the past. I’ve managed a few basic spins without the tip wobbling, which is a pleasant surprise for someone who’s never bothered with “professional” cues. I mean what, I need to start buying blue chalk now, lol. The cue screws together easily, and the joints feel tight—no wobble, no creak. The wood looks genuine (the natural grain is visible), and the overall finish is clean. I did notice the color is a shade darker than the photo, but that’s a minor aesthetic tweak; the cue still looks sharp on the table. After a handful of games on my home table, the cue feels consistent. Shots are smooth, the cue stays straight through the stroke, and the balance helps me keep my aim steady. For a casual player who just wants a reliable stick, this is more than enough. Pros? I don't know what they'd say. They might hold up the thing on their pinky and use the constellations to figure out if it's straight or not, I don't know, haha. I've had a lot of life goals before, big ones and little ones, but now this one is checked off the list, LOL. I have my own pool cue stick! Enjoy! PS - the other one was a telescope, literally one day last year I was like, you know what?? I'm an adult. I've always wanted a telescope. That's it, I'm getting a telescope. Got one. Ahhhhh, adulthood!

Straight cue, feels solid, wrap was applied properly. I wouldn't pay over 50 for this cue because the wood inlay graphics are not very believable. But seems like a very playable cue if that doesn't bother you.

I’ve been playing pool for years and these cues genuinely impressed me especially for the price. The Canadian hard maple shafts feel smooth and solid, with a noticeable reduction in deflection. English and spin control are very consistent, especially on longer shots. The pro taper is well done and feels comfortable whether you’re shooting softly or breaking harder. The leather tips hold chalk well and give great feedback on contact. I also appreciate the reinforced ferrule…it feels durable and hasn’t shown any signs of wear even after repeated breaks. The stainless steel joint fits perfectly with no wobble at all, and the cue comes together seamlessly. One of my favorite features is the grip. The subtle textured design really helps with control, especially during longer sessions when hands can get sweaty. The translucent wood finish looks even better in person, and the different weights are clearly marked, which makes it easy to choose the right cue depending on who’s playing.
