Description

From comfort-focused design to guided lessons, tone versatility, and striking finishes—this is a guitar that grows with you. Designed with beginners in mind, but built with the features that help you sound and feel like a pro. Why should I re-tune my electric guitar multiple times after receiving it? After tuning to standard pitch, gently pull the strings up to allow the strings and hardware to settle. Repeat this process 2-3 times. This "break-in" process is essential for all guitars, regardless of brand or price. What string gauge do you use for your guitars, and can I adjust it for different play styles? We use 10-46 gauge strings for balanced performance. For ultimate playability, try bE tuning (a popular tuning for rock). For optimal tuning accuracy, switch to 09-42 with standard E tuning. For a deep tone, use 11-52 strings and drop D tuning. How does string height affect my guitar’s sound and playability? String height, or action, influences tuning, tone, and feel. Our factory settings are 2.5mm for the low E string and 2.0mm for the high E string. After changing strings, make sure to adjust action to avoid negative effects on tone and tuning. Why does my guitar produce noise when plugged into an amp, especially with distortion or overdrive? Electric guitars with passive pickups usually produce background hum. This is normal, and the noise will disappear when you touch the strings. It's a common trait of all passive pickups, not a defect in our product. What are the tonal differences across pickup settings on Stryde and Veltrix models? Neck: Warm & smooth clean. Neck + Middle: Funky, scooped clean Middle: Balanced, classic clean. Middle + Bridge: Bright rhythm Bridge: Powerful lead & rock tones. In single-coil mode, you get bright highs, tight lows, and clear leads. Shred Anywhere. Sound Evolved. Style Unleashed. Music connects people, transcending boundaries and bringing joy to life's moments. We began with one mission—make quality instruments more accessible to everyday players. Music should be for everyone, and we’re here to make that happen. Because there’s nothing more rewarding than helping someone start their musical journey. Every chord learned and every song played reminds us why we’re here. We combine player-focused design with practical features—like coil-split switching and glow-in-the-dark markers—to make each instrument both fun and functional.

  • Tremendous value on a budget.
Color: Orange
For the money, it is a great deal, however you'll want to spend some time or money on a proper setup. All I did was loosen the strings, checked the frets with a fret rocker, tapped about a dozen of them gently with a tiny rubber mallet, and it plays better than one of my much more expensive Squires. The pickups are lower output, but clean and clear with crisp mids and treble, for a beginner, that's perfect. I own two Aklot guitars now and both of them are very surprising, punching well above their weight in terms of value per cost. Other than some highish frets, the fretwork is great, the neck is smooth. Some of the adjustments you might make are usually due to being built in a different climate with different humidity and temperature. I haven't needed to do any filing, buffing or polishing. I planned on swapping the pickguard and the electronics, but when it came it was beautiful, much better than the photos. I may keep it stock for a while. It came with roller string trees installed and a coil split for the humbucker, which is a great feature for a Strat style guitar. The output jack is nice and firm. The intonation was about 95% perfect, only some tiny adjustments on the D string bridge screw and it's wonderful. Get some fretboard oil, a tiny rubber mallet, and a fret rocker. There are great resources online to guide you through a setup. You should always expect to do some work on any new guitar, even very expensive guitars. This was one of the easiest new guitar setups I've ever done. For the cost, It's fantastic. I don't think there's anything better at this price point. 10/10 would buy again, and I might. ... show more

  • Very Nice Guitar and Practice Amp, Especially for the Price!!!
Color: Sunburst
I am 67 year old and have been playing since I was 14 and still play in a classic rock and blues band. I previously purchased an Aklot guitar and I was very happy with it. I saw a deal on Amazon for this Aklot beginner guitar kit and had seen a couple of reviews on Youtube for this instrument that were very positive. I received mine today and could not be more pleased! The guitar is beautiful, it tuned right up, the string height was excellent, made 1 or 2 very minor adjustments to the intonation and it is perfect. I highly recommend this purchase. The guitar is easily worth the entire price by itself, but it also includes a decent case, a tuner, a strap, extra set of strings, picks and a great little rechargable practice amp! I will gladly play gigs with this guitar and share my experience with others. A+ ... show more

  • Not perfect, but well worth it
Color: Sunburst
Ok. This guitar took more fret polishing than any budget guitar that I've previously bought. Every Glarry I've bought had smooth frets, this had such scratchy frets that it sounded like a rough violin oboe when you bent a string without picking it. That's no exaggeration. If you aren't at all into working on your new guitar, send it back FOR A REPLACEMENT, not a refund; because I understand that it's rare. After I worked on mine, I absolutely love it, plus the practice amp is pretty freaking good! Especially for a beginner. The tones are great, especially in the 2 and 4 position, and then you have a Humbucker with coil split? Sounds good! No, the pickups aren't Alnico, but Alnico is hype in my opinion. Classic rock and blues sound better to my ear with ceramic. Having said that, I have plenty of guitars and pickups to compare and I enjoy playing The Star Spangled Banner in position 4 on this guitar more than any of my other 30 guitars. Definitely worth it. ... show more

  • Everything you need including quality!
Color: Sunburst
Not only is the guitar itself of good quality but so are the accessories it comes with. The amp is nice and could likely be $30 on its own. The gig bag has nice padding and fits EVERYTHING snugly! Even the cable is thicker and not the thin wire junk they usually send with cheap or sometimes even not so cheap guitars. As you can see in the photos, I am able to put everything in the case and even use the nice bag they sent to put the amp in. 2 actual books are included, which is nice. Also a tuner, polish cloth, picks, strap, and extra set of strings should one break. This makes a very nice portable kit that I wish I had when I started playing 40 years ago! I lowered the action using the grub screws on the saddles and have done a lot of bending and whammy action and it stays in tune as well as any non-locking trem can! It sat in the bag for a couple of weeks. I went back to it and it was in tune when I picked it up. All the switches in knobs feel good and solid. Finish on the body is very well done and beautiful. I can see real wood grain on the neck. Rosewood finger board with glow in the dark dot inlays top it off nicely. I'm actually a bit picky. I just wanted a cheap strat because I miss my first guitar and the strat tones I could get from the 5 position switch. This is nicer than I expected and the portable rechargeable amp has been super handy. I have to wonder if these are going to be like Firefly where they used to be dirt cheap on Amazon and now their rivaling big names in resale price. I don't know. All I know is I like this one and the price I paid for it. I definitely recommend for beginners or anyone who wants a lot of guitar for a little money. ... show more

  • Saw it on Scar my Guitar
Color: Sunburst
This guitar is beautiful and plays very well. Wish guitars like this were around 55 years ago when I started learning. This is levels above the cheap choices I had back in 1969-70. Setup was almost perfect out of the box. Intonation was spot on. Neck was straight, action was set to recommended specs. Could be fine tuned to get a little lower but not needed. Tuners are the best I've seen and used on guitars that cost 3-5x as much. Roasted maple neck is smooth and quick. Mine came with light gauge strings (9.5-44). This actually plays better than my Gibson Les Paul Studio and stays in tune better. Excellent guitar especially for less than $150.00. Nice gig bag included comes with neck and saddle adjustment tools, extra set of strings(I put d'addario's on instead) and the little amp included is usable for practice. Overall it's a no brainer for me. ... show more

  • Best guitar package on Amazon 5 star
Color: Sunburst
I've bought 15 diffrent budget guitars off Amazon and this one is the best.. Set up very close from factory with no fret leveling or sharp frets.. Tuners are good and neck adjust was very slight. Rear humbucker was 10.2k and the coil split switch is great to have all the tomes you need.. Great sustain for blues and metal as well as missile and neck pickup for clean pure tones.. Finish is flawless and great. This guitar is easily comparable to quality of a 300 ro 500 dollar guitar many other build.. The gig bag is great and not cheap as well.as the other accessories got it for 128.00.with 10 percent coupon off and when they go on sale I buy them .. This is my 4th diffrent Aklot and all of them are great.. Youtube has great non bias reveiws on this and all 5 star 🌟 ... show more

  • Great kit with EVERYTHING you need to guit down!
Color: Orange
This is a nice set with EVERYTHING you need to start out. The setup on the guitar was OK as it came but had pretty high action. I wanted to get it perfect though and had to do some work on the guitar and now it truly plays great! One of the tuners seems like it doesn't work quite as well as the others (somehow more touchy and less responsive at the same time) but works fine. It's just a bit more quirky than the others. The roasted maple neck looks lovely and feels great. You get a good guitar, a nice gig bag, a tuner, a nice little amp (which has a rechargable battery and good battery life and is plenty loud enough for playing at home), a strap, an extra set of strings, some picks, and a cable to connect to the amp. Everything you need to make some sweet music you get! Also, there is a book of basics, on how to change strings, what the pickup switches do, how to adjust the truss rod, and other VERY useful things to know for a new guitarist. There is also a book on practicing and learning the basics for someone who has never played guitar before. The type in this book is pretty small and somewhat hard to read though. I do have to mention that the cable died after it's first use. It worked when I got it and tested everything out. When used a few days later it worked intermittantly. After that it simply did not work. I had other cables though, so not a big deal. I didn't buy the kit needing the cable, but it was nice to have it included. It appears to be decent quality cable, in that it is standard thickness and not super thin like the cheapest of cables. But it did not last past a couple of very light uses. I'm very happy with this kit! I wish something like this existed many many years ago when I first got a guitar! I give 4.5 stars because basically any guitar is going to need some tweaking to set it up real nice which requires time and know-how or money. Also, the bad cable. So not perfect, but very very good! ... show more
