1 year, 3 months later update: I’ve worn these shoes off and on for 2 summers - mostly on! The shoes show little wear and are still comfortable. I had an accident on a bike and one shoe was covered in blood, inside and out. I use a pre treatment before washing. Put it in a net washing bag and threw them in the washer. All the blood came out of the shoe. I’m about to wash them again. I decided to buy another pair as a back up just in case. The pair I just got do not have the AKK tag on them and they fit a little tighter but ok. The AKK tag makes them look a little nicer. Both my niece and my mom bought the same shoes and love them. My niece works on her feet all day and finds them comfy. My 87 year old mom keeps them for good however she always gets compliments on them. So they are great for any age group. Original review: I seen these shoes on the Today show and had to check them out. First so many reviewers are thinking these are hands free slip ons. They are not. They are not advertised as hands free. Maybe if you wiggle and wiggle. However they are easy to slip on with the assistance of one hand. No tying needed. Once you have them on tie the laces where it is comfortable and leave them. I have narrow feet so I pulled mine a little snugger. I normally wear Skechers Go Walk only. All other shoes have hurt my feet. These are very comparable with lots of cushioning. I have had them on all day and no foot pain. The shoes bend very easily and have room for the toes to wiggle. Very soft, stretchy knit like uppers that breathe. These seem to have great support if you get them in the right size. I have 2 pairs. The color pictured and white. It’s like a grey white blank pattern. Now for the size trick. Without socks I had to go up 1/2 size. To wear with socks I went up a full size. I also got some for my mom and they fit her the same. The only con is the bottom on feet always sweat a lot and when I take off the shoe the insole comes out with it. Remember I am not wearing socks. With socks I don’t think this would happen. But it’s easy enough to pop back in. I liked these shoes so much I actually bought 2 pair for my 85 yr old mom. I think she will like not having to tie her shoes. ... show more

UPDATE ONE YEAR LATER I bought these shoes September 14, 2024 doubting they would last any time and today is September 28, 2025. I have worn these shoes and washed them multiple times and they look as good one year later as the day I first wore them. They do not shrink and have stayed true to my size 7 foot. They do not stretch or shrink. As any white shoe does, the toes get dirty faster than anywhere else but I pre-treat before I wash and they come out clean. I wash them IN GARMENT BAGS in the washer on a regular wash and dry them in front of a fan. Even though they aren’t as expensive as the “better” brands, to me they are more comfortable and look just as good. I don’t remember ever updating a review but I had to these shoes. Buy them! I wish I had taken a before picture to show the difference between dirty and clean. I was astonished that all the dirt came out when I washed them in the clothes washer. I did try to spot clean, especially the toes and it made it worse. The insoles are removal and I did remove them. I washed each individually in a mesh lingerie bag because I just thought that would be better and also in a plant based detergent with a little bit of OxyClean. I will be drying them directly in front of a fan. I will update if they shrink beyond wearing. I LOVE THESE SHOES! I have worn them out shopping and around the house. Still haven’t worn them on my mile walks, but plan to. They are extremely breathable and brace my ankles which a chiropractor has told me is part of my problem. I also have over ten bulging disks and they do give me support. The best thing I like is that they are VERY lightweight. Some have said they don’t have to be untied to put on. So I have these sneakers for a while now and the funny thing is when I first put them on I was not happy with them. I felt my feet were being pushed to the toes, but now that I have worn them a few more times they feel very cloud like and comfy. I guess they will stretch just a bit to form to your foot so yes, I would recommend them. I do feel though they are on a slight angle. Maybe that’s why originally I wasn’t happy because I felt my toes were pushing forward, but maybe they widened at the toe bed but they’re pretty good now so yeah I would recommend them. I will also add I do have a big foot I take a size 10, and that’s what I purchased and if you have them a few times I think you’ll be happy with the fit is definitely wrong maybe because of the material ... show more

I really like these tennis shoes. I’ve worn them very often since purchasing and finding them extremely lightweight and comfortable. They are true to size, with no fit issues or discomfort whatsoever. Easy to keep clean with a little Oxyclean. I haven’t had any issues with slipperiness as others had mentioned, I wear them on my dock and boat every time and they are very sturdy and stable for me on those wet surfaces. Although comfortable and stylish, the main reason for the purchase was to be able to just slide them on. However, I can't do that because the tongue is so flimsy, its not stiff enough to hold up straight so you still have to use your hand to hold up the tongue and then pull them on. Also, its mostly all mesh material which makes it light but the fabric gets so dirty especially the top and toe. So it always looks yucky. ... show more

I like these shoes They are very comfortable as I have long toes and there is enough room for my feet to feel uncramped.. I usually wear slip on shoes and I have a pair of Akk shoes that are slip ons but they needed to be updated so the laces do not bother me and makes me feel comfortable and at ease when I wearhem.. It helps that they have vents so the air can move around which makes them breathable and they are stretchable for my feet ause I wear socks so there is plenty of room..     • Compared to Skechers
I purchased these as a less expensive version of my Skechers Go Walk 3 shoes. Skechers are so expensive but incredibly comfortable and I wanted more color choices but have zero interest in paying the price for more Skechers, so I gave these a try. I chose the style with the laces in a size 6. I am happy with the color (Navy), the style, and the overall feel of the outside of the shoe. They are by no means as cushiony as the Skechers, the arch support isn't as good, just as light weight, and with the inside I can feel the fabric seams (those of you who are more sensitive to feeling things on your feet without socks know what I mean). So, I put on a pair of no show socks to make them a little more comfortable - which worked good enough. I bought them a 1/2 size smaller because I read that several others felt they ran large - in that respect I think the length of the shoe actually runs true to size - but the fabric on the heel is what is causing a bit of slippage - I expect that it will get worse as I break the shoes in - I believe if somehow the heel fabric could either be weaved tighter or maybe the shoe opening smaller this would help with the slippage. I'll wear these for a while and see how well they hold up and/or how much they stretch before I decide to purchase any other colors. ... show more
