I ordered these gloves for a four day ski trip and loved them. As with anything, you have to consider the price to judge performance. At this price point, I was very impressed. Two of the days were in the mid-30s and the glove did very well. Hands got a little chilly on the lifts, but were fine otherwise. One of the days was (according to the staff) “the most miserable day on the mountain of your life.” 15*F at the base, blizzard snow, and 40-50 mph wind gusts. MOST of the time, my hands were pretty good. Where these gloves had trouble was above the tree line where the temperature can be in the negatives and there’s nothing blocking the wind. There was admittedly a point where I was concerned about frostbite with the gloves on, but my hands quickly warmed up as I got closer to the base. In terms of quality, my only complaint is that the pull string ends come off easily. My solution was to pull the cords through the caps and tie a knot. Problem solved. Conclusion: If you’re sensitive to cold hands/are going into terrible conditions, it might be worth your while to find gloves that are specifically rated for sub-zero conditions. While I didn’t see an advertised rating, I would rate it at 15*. For under $20, that’s a great deal and I was very pleased.

Excellent investment for the freezing winters; fingers nice and warm :) I was needing some warm gloves to keep my hands warm as I’m outside for longer periods during the freezing winter months. Came across these AKASO Ski Gloves - 3M Thinsulate Insulated Warm Snow Gloves, Windproof Waterproof Breathable Winter Gloves for Men & Women Arrived just in time for below freezing temps 12-25 degrees, even lower with the windchill. I spent about 30-45 minutes getting all the snow and ice off the cars and not once did my hand and fingers freeze up like the other gloves. I love the fact that the gloves covers over my sleeves for a better seal so snow wouldn’t get around my wrist. No sweating hand, and the gloves kept my hands dry. I was able to grip a big snow scraper with no issues. I was also out in the icy roads and it there was a decent amount of rain coming down, the gloves were not soaked, and it still kept my fingers warmed til I got inside. The dried up quickly due to the material. Definitely waterproof, now I wouldn’t go and shove your gloves in a bucket of water. But for practical everyday use, shoveling snow, snowball fights ;) long hours working outdoors, and hunting trip with some friends. Excellent investment! I’m hoping they last for many seasons. I’ll update should the quality of the gloves change through normal wear.

These are a pretty good pair of winter gloves. I would recommend they add a wrist strap so they are less likely to get dropped. These gloves will keep your hands nice and warm in the cold weather. The weak point of these gloves are the finger tips. The cold starts to leak in through the finger tips in really cold weather. I have not used them for skiing yet. I've worn them in various degrees of cold and was outside for 30+ minutes each time. See below: @ 31 degrees F - hands stayed nice and warm @ 17 degrees F - hands stayed nice and warm but you can feel the cold start to leak in at the finger tips @ 5 degrees F - the gloves let the cold in via the finger tips and are not as effective

I just bought these for my stepson. We have a tense relationship at best. He wanted snow gloves so that he could play for hours on end in relative comfort in the snow. So I head to Amazon and start searching in hopes of bridging the gap between us. I was on a budget and was looking at gloves under $25. These came up and passed the most important bar of being waterproof. Looking at the gloves online, they were attractive and long enough to cover the sleeves of a jacket. And they were well within my price range. When they arrived, looked as good in person as they did in photos...look to be well made too. And they fit well. My stepson loves them so far (I’m probably not supposed to know that) and is eagerly awaiting the big test when it snows. So these gloves will not only keep your hands dry and warm, they may be just what you need to get your relationship with your stepson going in the right direction.

These seem really well made. We are not huge snow people and don't visit all that often so typically I borrow gear and this time decided to just buy us out own things. I purchased 2 pairs for myself and my daughter but my husband saw them as I was opening the package and took them and said they were now his. I think I ordered an XS for my daughter and a medium for myself but I fit fine in the smaller size and the larger size is actually quite roomy and better suited for larger hands. Even the smaller size reaches well above my wrist which is perfect as I detest being cold. They are really soft fleece inside and are quite warm. The outside has a faux leather palm which should make gripping gear easier. I can't attest to the durability as we just received these but I will update my review after a few uses. Overall I'm excited to try these out this season!

Exactly what I needed for shoveling snow and doing all manner of outdoor fun and frolicky things throughout the cold Michigan winter. Useful for walking the dogs, and even while driving, at least until the car heats up. Thick, comfortable, roomy, and warm, but not so that my hands sweat while wearing them. Highly recommended!

Have only had them for a few weeks. They don’t keep my hands much warmer than a simple pair of unlined fleece gloves and the weather has only been 30 degrees at worst. I stand outdoors directing traffic at local high school and they fail to keep my hands warm in the Fall so far. Shudder to think of the winter when I’ll will stand for 30 minutes in the cold in excess of zero degrees or less! Bummer!! Decent fit and finish though, earning them a generous 3 stars.
