I had this action camera and tested it for about 3 months, a few days ago while doing 45MPH on my motercycle, the clip on the top of the case failed and sent the camera flying out of the back of the case, where it kissed a trucks wheel, obliterating the camera. Before this incident I was more than happy with the camera, at 1080p 60fps I was able to record for a hour and a half, and the quality was good, the digital stabilization they use is satisfactory, not as good as Go Pro but this is cheaper, overall 3-5 stars due to the case malfunction and potential loss of private information. ... show more

Just received this ek7000 and so far so good, picture and video quality are pretty good especially for the money, tons of accessories came with it and two batteries, I'm going to put it through it's paces and revist this review afterwards

I love this camera and, I have to say, it’s great for the price. Personally, I use this camera in a lowlight setting, while playing airsoft. The only bad thing I can say so far is that in certain darker conditions, those that a name brand camera could pick up, this one cannot, but that is a minimal problem, and even it lowlight it works well. Genuinely consider purchasing one of these to intro yourself to action cameras before purchasing one of the expensive ones ... show more

Darn good camera for a great price. I use it to record my bass fishing outings and post it on YouTube!! It does a freaking amazing job! Battery life isn’t the best but hey you get two batteries so I can’t much complain. I record in 1080 60 with not one problem!! I’ll be buying the newer or most updated version in a couple of weeks… Oh yeah,, AKASO reached out to me and asked was everything okay with the camera!! That was so cool to me! And they even sent me a replacement cover for my battery,, damn good customer service! ... show more

Very inexpensive and easy to use. Good way to learn about the action cameras. Needs more instructions on using the various accessories. Missing the accessory to mount on front of ball cap.

    • Fun starter action camera
I didn't want to drop a ton of money on an action camera and wanted something smaller than my cell phone to shoot video so I searched Amazon and the Akaso EK7000 got really good reviews. It's pretty easy to use. I took video in the house and it came out pretty clear. I'm taking video outside today and will update my review later. Going to have fun with this little camera. Battery life isn't all that great if you shoot video in 1080 but you do get 2 batteries. Date and time resets when you swap out battery but you can charge the battery while it's in the camera so maybe date and time stamp will stay (I'm trying that now). There's no EIS but we'll see if it does what I bought it to do. ... show more
