I was looking for a ladder to use to be able to easily get into my truck camper. This ladder fits perfectly below my tailgate, essentially turning my tailgate into a 3rd step. The ladder feels stable - bouncing on the ladder, weighing nearly 200lbs i felt no flexing, or wobbling. Closing and opening it was smooth, and it folds up nicely for storage. The biggest downside is how small the steps are - 12" wide. Compared to other step stools, the width is about 4" shorter. This makes it feel slightly unnatural walking up the steps, as your feet have to be close together to fit. But on the other hand, being narrow makes it easier to store. Step stools are one of several household essentials. You need a small step stool for basic needs like changing light bulbs, cleaning ceiling fans, etc. I like having these small step stools in different areas of the house and since my upstairs was in need, I decided to get this two- step ladder from AKARY. This step stool is made mostly from aluminum and it’s lightweight and easy to carry around. It can hold enough weight to make it safe for just about anyone. The steps have good gripping ability so you don’t need to worry that your feet will slip while you stand on it. With only two steps, this step stool has limited usefulness. You won’t be able to reach high- up places, so if you have this type of need, it might be best to go with three or four step option. Possibly my greatest issue with the two- step version is that it doesn’t have any extension at the top. I like these smaller step stools better when there is some type of extension because you can hold on to it and feel more secure. It also serves as a handle, for easier carrying. Step stools are useful for any home owner or apartment dweller. This two- step model from AKARY is very good quality and is useful for those times when you need a little bit more height to reach what you need to reach. It’s good for changing light bulbs and reaching into the upper sections of kitchen cupboards. It’s not perfect, but certainly sufficient for most basic needs. ... show more

It’s not the cheapest step stool but then again this is entirely made of aluminum. I have a bunch of those collapsing plastic stools and while they are sturdy I have had a few break on me. It’s usually happens in the middle joint area and is probably cause by using it on uneven surfaces. Since this is aluminum, I don’t foresee that same kind of problem with any type of buckling under weight or an uneven surface. It’s fairly light weight and folds down pretty flat although the folded surface area is still rather large. I’ve used this to change some light bulbs on our ceiling and hang up some decorative wall art without any problems. When not in use we store it against the wall in our under the stairs closet so it doesn’t get in the way. Like I said, it’s not priced dirt cheap but again it isn’t made of plastic. ... show more

Step stools are almost a necessity in the kitchen these days, and this is the perfect size. It's sturdy and secure, yet when you fold it up, it doesn't take up much room. It's less than two inches wide in its closed position. I stash it behind my pantry door, It came nicely packaged. This two step ladder is in my garage and overall a good option for accessing some hard to reach shelves on top of racks and things like that. The ladder is light weight and easily stowed away due to the small design.
