I am an African American woman with long, thick, natural hair that I LOVE. I am resistant to wearing weaves and am not a huge fan of braids. However, during this quarantine, I have been wearing my hair in a ponytail daily and thought it would be fun to try a new look. I originally searched for wigs on Amazon for fun, I had no clue there would be any available here (but of course, Amazon sells LITERALLY EVERYTHING!!) so I was surprised and happy to see there were many to choose from. I ordered one that was close to my own hair and color when silk pressed out by my stylist. I saw this one and knew it was PERFECT for me! However, I was hesitant because I have NEVER worn a wig so I had no clue of how I would look with one. I was still skeptical after reading the mixed reviews but the photos of REAL women wearing the wig and the price (how can you beat this price??) were enough to motivate me to order. I could not believe it came STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BAG looking just as pictured here. Please do not believe any of the reviews that state otherwise. Also, it does not shed much at all. The amount of shed is equivalent to what your natural hair would lose in a day--a few hairs. As a first-time wig purchaser, this wig is PERFECT, it's easy to wear, it looks real, it feels good and it was easy to put on!! My husband and son immediately thought I had just flat-ironed my own hair! Family and friends who saw me on ZOOM stated the same--they thought it was real and that I had done such a good job flat ironing it--and I looked good with a bang! LAUGH!!! I don't normally wear bangs, I wear a middle or side part so the bangs were new to me and I like them too. BUY THIS!!! You will not regret it. I will definitely order another just to have 2-3 of them. TIP: I also ordered Pantene's dry shampoo (smells so good) when ordering the wig as it was suggested in some of the reviews to use a dry shampoo on the wig. I do not think it really needed it because it was not at all shiny or synthetic looking--it even FEELS real but again I'm not a wig wearer and haven't gone anywhere to notice if it's shiny or not. It looks like regular hair to me and my husband.

Color: natural brown with blonde highlight
Pros- Low price point, realistic looking waves, hair thickness and color. I sometimes need an upgrade from my ponytail for professional appointments and unexpected visitors. Cons- Wig hair on top, from center of your head through front bangs, is bone straight, unnaturally thick and shiny like Barbie doll hair. The sides and back look less artificial but visually, it will be probably be obvious to others it’s a wig. However, since a custom natural hair wig can cost hundreds, this is a good option, especially for someone with this similar hair texture.

This was my first wig purchase ever. I read many reviews before settling on this one. This wig seemed promising and not too much of a splurge for starters. I didn't see too much of a gap pictured at the scalp revealing the sewing which is what I was most concerned about. This wig exceeds my expectations. The fiber color is not overly shiny, it looks absolutely real and is extremely well made. I don't have a lot of experience, so as far as the mesh cap is concerned it seems fine to me, I appreciate that it's invisible when I'm wearing it. I have an average sized head and this wig fits very snugly, there are some clips to make the Wig cap tighter for someone with smaller head or who needs more security. The cap seems pretty breathable. It's January now in Ohio so I'm not sure that I'll really know how comfortable it is in the heat for what feels like another 6,000 months until summer. The strands of hair are a natural density. I could easily wear this everyday and I doubt that anyone passing me by or holding a long conversation with me would have a clue that it's a wig. It was a little awkward to put on for a newbie, I didn't want to yank and pull on it to get it over the included stretchy nylon wig cap (they sent 2, by the way!). The wig cap is a durable polyester. I flipped the bang portion slightly inside out in order to keep the shorter hair sticking out while putting the wig on.

This wig is perfect in every way. It's so comfortable that you forget your wearing it and it looks and feels like it's natural, not fake. The color is also natural looking, like you have highlights in your hair. I've not had any shedding, it seems very well constructed.
