UPDATE: It actually came through when I needed it lol. You get what you paid for BUT I do want to mention that I bought a lace front wig as a first-time user of lace fronts. It sucked because it wasn't glueless or pre-plucked as advertised, and I felt like I had invested more money only to be disappointed. That's when I had no choice but to switch to this wig because it's black like my hair color, and thus much easier to work with when it came to putting it behind my ears, a low ponytail, etc., it looked way more natural than the other wig. I only wear wigs at work and when I'm out and about so I needed something low-maintenance and this wig does it for me. The shininess is still there but the hair is light and has so much movement. I've adjusted the straps and used the hair clips on my shorter, natural hair to help with the cap. Overall, not too shabby if you put some love into it or sick of lace fronts and need something low-maintenance. ORIGINAL POST: The hair is very beautiful and soft. But it's shiny and the cap is lumpy. It reminds me of a baseball cap. Wasn't worth it.

Pros- Low price point, realistic looking waves, hair thickness and color. I sometimes need an upgrade from my ponytail for professional appointments and unexpected visitors. Cons- Wig hair on top, from center of your head through front bangs, is bone straight, unnaturally thick and shiny like Barbie doll hair. The sides and back look less artificial but visually, it will be probably be obvious to others it’s a wig. However, since a custom natural hair wig can cost hundreds, this is a good option, especially for someone with this similar hair texture.

I am an African American woman with long, thick, natural hair that I LOVE. I am resistant to wearing weaves and am not a huge fan of braids. However, during this quarantine, I have been wearing my hair in a ponytail daily and thought it would be fun to try a new look. I originally searched for wigs on Amazon for fun, I had no clue there would be any available here (but of course, Amazon sells LITERALLY EVERYTHING!!) so I was surprised and happy to see there were many to choose from. I ordered one that was close to my own hair and color when silk pressed out by my stylist. I saw this one and knew it was PERFECT for me! However, I was hesitant because I have NEVER worn a wig so I had no clue of how I would look with one. I was still skeptical after reading the mixed reviews but the photos of REAL women wearing the wig and the price (how can you beat this price??) were enough to motivate me to order. I could not believe it came STRAIGHT OUT OF THE BAG looking just as pictured here. Please do not believe any of the reviews that state otherwise. Also, it does not shed much at all. The amount of shed is equivalent to what your natural hair would lose in a day--a few hairs. As a first-time wig purchaser, this wig is PERFECT, it's easy to wear, it looks real, it feels good and it was easy to put on!! My husband and son immediately thought I had just flat-ironed my own hair! Family and friends who saw me on ZOOM stated the same--they thought it was real and that I had done such a good job flat ironing it--and I looked good with a bang! LAUGH!!! I don't normally wear bangs, I wear a middle or side part so the bangs were new to me and I like them too. BUY THIS!!! You will not regret it. I will definitely order another just to have 2-3 of them. TIP: I also ordered Pantene's dry shampoo (smells so good) when ordering the wig as it was suggested in some of the reviews to use a dry shampoo on the wig. I do not think it really needed it because it was not at all shiny or synthetic looking--it even FEELS real but again I'm not a wig wearer and haven't gone anywhere to notice if it's shiny or not. It looks like regular hair to me and my husband.
