Bought two of these for our bedrooms. I liked the fact they integrated with Apple HomeKit which is the smart home platform we use. Out of the box they worked great and having the air quality displayed clearly on the device with both a numeric value and color coded ring is nice for quickly knowing the air quality of a room. I set them up with automations to turn on for an hour when we enter the room, as well as a schedule that turns them on in โ€œnight modeโ€ at a specific time. Taking off one star as the fan in one of the units makes just a little bit of noise (the other is whisper quiet), and I wish there was higher fan speeds available with night mode. In night mode the fan runs very quiet, but also very slow. It would be nice if the fan could run at higher settings while also turning off the display. Overall I highly recommend this for other HomeKit users! ... show more

There's not much to distinguish air filters from one another. Does it filter air? Yes. Does it do it quietly? Yes. But it does have nice quality of life features if you're looking to build a smart home around Apple's Homekit/Thread. From that stand point its very easy to add it to Apple Home, where you can program automations, get air quality read outs, etc. If you want further information/control you have to get the Sleekpoint app which has a nice interface and is straight forward to use. This purifier was perfect for our bedroom. Its relatively quiet compared to other non smart purifiers i have around the house. Love the ability to create automations for this and the air quality sensor is exposed to homekit. Will definitely look to replace my dumb purifiers to these eventually.

    • I love that it works using Thread and everything can be controlled from the app
The unit is compact, feels very solid, filters fit snugly to prevent air leaks around them. I had never used Thread before and our HomePod Mini was in my wifeโ€™s name. Once I figured out how to add myself to her HomePod (using her iPhone), everything went very quickly and easily. The unit shows up in Apple Home and the Sleekpoint app for controlling all its features works great. Iโ€™ve only had mine for day, but I bought it because my wifeโ€™s daughter bought some of them a couple of months ago and her house always seems clean and fresh with no odors. Great air purifier! Ordered one, liked it, and ordered additional ones for each bedroom. My personal preference is that I like having my air purifiers in HomeKit. YMMV, but if your preference is like mine, Thread is a really great feature. It would be nice if the sensor picked up VOCs, but it does filter them. I run the purifiers on high for an hour before bedtime so not a big deal to me. Setup instructions could be improved. Scanning the barcode into HomeKit did not work for me. Typing the number on the barcode sticker into the home app did work. I like the support app just fine. Does everything you need it to do. If you donโ€™t care about HomeKit and Thread, there are less expensive options out there. If you want full integration into the Apple ecosystem this is the best air purifier Iโ€™ve found at this time. Hope this is helpful! ... show more
