  • No PPM on the wave
Overall I am happy with the package. I’m a little disappointed that the full size wave doesn’t track particulates.

  • Insightful and Easy to Use
We purchased this after worrying about the air quality in our children’s room. It was easy to set up and get the app. I check the app almost daily to see new information about the quality of air in our kids’ room. The information is very helpful!

  • Effective tester, easy to use, easy to setup and good product support
First off, if you work, play or live in the lowest level of your home, you have to test for Radon continuously. It shouldn't be a one and done like almost everyone does. This is my second purchase of an Airthings device and I couldn't be more happier. I purchased a Corentium around Sept 2020 and found for 2 months that my Radon levels were low and then late Fall hit and the house was closed up with the heat on, my levels went incredibly high and stayed that way until a mitigation system was installed. After the mitigation was installed I purchased this more complete system to monitor my radon levels in my lower level, which is where exercise equipment is located, the home office and a play room for children. The wave mini is used in the upper level of the home where mold and voc's are important for sleeping safety. The data collection and output has been phenomenal and has allowed me to to analyze how factors like windows being open or candles being burned or in one case some varnish being applied can effect the air quality. Both devices were easy to set up and pair with my iphone and network router. Airthings has continually upgraded and added to the functionality of their iphone App which has been great as I love Data and they continually have improved the UI of the app. I want to conclude that if you exercise in your lowest level in your home you really should have a constant monitoring of the air quality. A higher level of respiration in bad air may create complications to your life which you previously didn't even know. I realized once I purchased this that spending a couple hundred of dollars after spending thousands of dollars on exercise equipment is a cheap ROI for overall health. ... show more

  • Peace of mind and awareness
It takes a little while to unpack due to the multi box packaging but it’s compact. Setting it up is easy. About 20 min. After setting up you need to allow a week for it to calibrate and generate its readings. To my surprise my levels for radon(the main reason I bought this) were higher than recommended and now I’m looking to get radon remediation. The only person I wouldn’t recommend this to are those who have a home raised above ground( those with crawl spaces below or apartments. Otherwise(especially if you have a basement; it’s a must. Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer after smoking. It’s an odorless gas and this is the most convenient way to not only test but maintain constant monitoring of it. It also monitors humidity (you can place sensors in areas of suspected higher humidity to monitor for mold potential hot spots) and it monitors Volatile organic compounds which in high levels can affect your health long term(especially people with allergies, or respiratory issues such as asthma). When levels get high it’s recommended to ventilate the home to let it breathe greasy air by opening windows and letting fresh air circulate through home from 30 minutes to several hours based on preferences. Highly recommend this product! ... show more

  • Does this deliver ease of mind or uncertainty
The jury is still out on whether these devices are going to ease my mind or make me more insecure. I do like that the radon detector tells me I don't have a radon problem. I literally have part of a rock ledge in my basement so that is a comfort. It irritates me when it tells me that "Brr, it's cold in the living room". There doesn't seem to be a "my wife thinks anything above sixty three degrees Fahrenheit is a sauna" adjustment option. It would be really nice if I could tweak the ranges of acceptable temperature/humidity. I'm a bit concerned at the average numbers of volatile organic chemicals it reports in our bedroom, but I am also concerned at how much two adults and two fairly large dogs in the same room with the windows closed and the door barely open might be contributing to said VOCs. I guess I like being able to monitor conditions in the house at all times. If I'm not home and the temperature goes up by a few hundred degrees I'll know to call the fire brigade. ... show more

  • Shipped Used when Ordered New
I could tell when the order came in that it was re-taped. I did not think to much about, all the parts where there. After I got it powered up, is when the lesson started. I could not get anything to update or register. I call the Manufacture, and they told me that all of the components where already registered. After 4 hours of technical help and reversing all the previous registration, I was able to get it registered. I'm now in the 7 days period of getting the system to calibrate to see if it is actually working properly. IF I BUY NEW I SHOULD GET NEW. Air Things did take care of me. ... show more
