Works well for 1-2 people using adults and/or children. My 18 year old son who s nw 6'3" complains that the back is uncomfortable which is to be consideredfor tall people. The tube does hold water and can be drained but it is a little difficult to do from a boat. This is the third year ofuse and the bottom air chamber has a leak in an area that is not patchable. The bladder floats inside cover so make sure you have the bladder in the correct position when filling so that it's easy to top off and deflate later. Make sure if you fill it so that the material is tight. Take your pump with you the first time so you can top off the air because it will stretch a little. ... show more

    • Great fun but one annoying issue
This thing rocks. Can ride forwards or backwards, easily seats 2 adults or 3 kids. I'd give it a 5-star except it has one annoying issue: the inflatable section inside the cover shifts around and gets twisted when you store the thing and it's really difficult to get everything re-aligned so the air inlet lines up with the openings in the cover. There are zippers for access but it takes awhile and if you don't get it lined up just right, it's impossible to get the inner tube air inlets closed (you have to REALLY inflate it full because it deflates a bit when you take it from hot air to a cold lake). We also had a problem where the return valve popped off one of the inlet valves - this can happen when you over-inflate and have boisterous riding. This thing is great. This is our second season with this tube. Nice stable platform for younger kids, ample room for teens and adults. Quality construction has proven durable through much abuse. We have never experienced the tube filling with water (we often use it for lounging when anchored). There are three bladders/tubes that need to be inflated. If the floor is not inflated you will sit below the water line instead of above it. We keep our tube inflated most of the season as the valves hold very well. The special red valve inserts allow you to get an excellent fill without loss while removing your pump. Left inflated the fabric dries quickly. ... show more

Very nice quality! It is huge though so it can be a nice comfortable slow ride if you have a pontoon boat like ours with a 75HP motor. It's too big and heavy to fly it around, but if you don't want to fly in the air and do dangerous fast rides than this is perfect and fits 2 people comfortably.

    • Fills with water as cover is not water proof
The tube is actually three individual tubes held together by a fabric cover. A major design flaw is that the fabric is not water proof and allows water to come into the seating area from underneath. Once there is weight sitting in the tube, the center starts to take on water - and hold it. No joke - you can watch the thing fill up as your boat struggles to pull the additional weight. If someone has a solution - I would love to hear it. After using it for a half dozen times, it is too late to return it for a refund or exchange. ... show more

Had this tube for 2 seasons now it does get some water inside but it drains out when you start pulling it. The outside fabric is very durable. The tube is comfortable and very stable. I only gave it two stars because the floor air bladder has popped twice. It has had normal use usually only pulling small to teenage kids. Tried to order a new bladder for the second time and airhead is sold out. ... show more
