This is a portable air brush with built in compressor and rechargable batteries. It comes well packaged in a sturdy box with 3 different sized paint cups. One small metal cup and two larger plastic cups. It also comes with a variety of wire cleaning brushes and some plastic cleaning brushes. It also has one replacement nozzle. So the first thing I noticed about it when assembling it is that the threads on everything are very rough and not smooth. I didn't expect a highly refined and machined product and this didn't surprise me. Considering the price, this is pretty much bottom dollar manufacturing. This would be significantly more expensive with better machining on the threads. The threads are so rough and the needle cap was screwed on so tight I had to use two pairs of needle nose pliers to loosen the needle cap to get it off when I cleaned it. It looks good and has a good weight in the hand. It stands nicely on the base of the compressor and batter pack and won't fall over, even with the big paint cup attached and full. It charges fast and I used it for about 15 minutes total time in my testing, switching paints and cleaning it. I didn't notice it lagging or dropping in power during that time. However, I did notice the compressor and battery pack becoming noticeably warm during use. It wasn't uncomfortable, but it was definitely noticeable. It is a single action airbrush with two air pressure settings, so it has limited adjustability. I only use acrylic paints and inks in my airbrushes. I found that with proper thinning I was able to spray a decent mist of paint and ink on both pressure settings. I didn't notice a huge difference in the pressures and I found that it didn't produce a good even atomization of the paints. I adjusted my thinning ratio and was able to get a decent atomization, but no where near what I liked. I'm a miniature painter and gamer and I think this will work great for things like painting basing and terrain. Possibly for bigger things like vehicles and busts. I like that it is portable and I can take with me to painting parties or other events where it would be inconvenient to bring my compressor and normal airbrush. All said this is a good portable airbrush for the price point. If you compare this to a good high quality brush there is no comparison. If you go into this with the proper expectations, you won't be disappointed.

This isn't a bad airbrush for the price. According to the documentation you'll get about 30 minutes of use on a full charge. A charge can take up to 3 hours. So I see this as good for those smaller projects like those noted in the description. Overall, I do like the portability and ease of use that come with being cordless and use this when I can since it's easier to get out and put away. Cleanup is also pretty quick and easy.

I LOVE this set! The compressor is super small and is perfect for my needs. As someone who paints odds and ends, I'm always looking for ways to make the process more efficient and convenient. I got this airbrush kit to use for when I decorate cupcakes and it did not disappoint. I found that it holds a good charge since I'm only using it in short spurts when applying food color to cupcake icing. There are three different sized reservoirs, though I don't know when I'll use the largest one as I don't do this professionally so I don't need that much food color at once; I suppose the large one would be better if you were using this for painting. It came with a lot of extras like the cleaning brushes and the small paint brushes, and I appreciate that they included clear instructions for use. The size and weight are good for my smaller hands and manipulating the sprayer trigger is easy once you get used to the finger positioning. I like that I can control the amount of spray as needed. I also purchased water-based food coloring on Amazon since I figured it would be easier to clean. Yes, you will spend some time cleaning the reservoir and nozzle but the fun of being able to airbrush cupcakes (or cakes or cookies!) makes it worthwhile. If you have never used an airbrush before, this would be an excellent starter kit and it would make a great, affordable gift.
