I bought this to add distressing details to models and diecast cars when I don’t feel like setting up my other airbrush. It does a really good job with small areas and is comparable to my much more expensive airbrush system. I have used it once to paint a Hot Wheel custom and it did a really nice job, the paint was very even and it took no time to set up and clean. Not sure how well it would do on larger projects, like T shirts or any kind of automotive/motorcycle customization. The battery does seem to run out quickly so you would have to recharge it a lot. If you are new to airbrushing, or need one for smaller projects, this would be a good beginners set. ... show more

    • Easy to use, best for larger areas (fine details difficult/impossible)
Works as advertised. Takes some practice to get used to holding it (heavier than a "classic" airbrush connected to a compressor). Air constantly flows when it's turned on, and you control the flow of paint with the trigger, which takes some getting used to over a "two stage" trigger where you control the flow of air AND paint. It is difficult (impossible?) to get a very fine line (at least so far for me), but works well for areas and small patches. ... show more

I purchased this for my son to paint model planes he creates out of cardboard and 3D printing. He tried it with several different kinds of acrylic paint, diluting it with water or paint thinner. In either case, he could not get it to work well enough to get a nice color on his models. He might need to play with it more to get the paint thickness right for good flow and coverage. ... show more

Idk if i used it wrong or what happened but after the first couple uses the knob to open the spot stopped working so the product just flies out and now everything is leaking through. Only used handful of times and already needing a new one
