I absolutely LOVE the smell of this Air Wick Freshmatic Spray. Fresh Rain is the scent I purchased and it smells just like it does when it's raining! Fresh and Crisp with just the perfect hint of aroma. This scent is not overpowering, filling the room with clean, crisp fresh air with a single spray. We really like this product in my household, but there's no point buying it when half the time you can only choose from 1 or 2 scents because all the others are priced at 2-3x normal price. Fresh Linen gets old and Lavender is just awful but those have been the only two choices priced sanely for months. So even if you like this product, it's either overpay, or find an alternative, sadly. Unless you REALLY REALLY like smelling the same scent over and over and/or same two scents (if you're a degenerate who likes lavender, which is a scent only sociopaths use). ... show more

Be aware... I like the product and have several automatic sprayers... old and new... I have tried the smaller spray refill in the new and old sprayer... also tried different sprayers of the same kind... old and new batteries... these just don't work.

The good: I love the scent - it's clean and fresh, not perfumy. Unit does not plug in, use electricity, or generate heat. Does not pose a potential electrical hazard. Scent and battery seem to last for months. The bad: The sound: I can hear it spray from my bedroom, although I'm a very light sleeper. The spray: although it is a very fine mist, make sure sprayer is not directed toward high traffic or sitting areas... or near the dog's water or food bowls. I use this scent in the seldom used formal areas as well as in bathrooms & several closets. Though my husband restricts his smoking to one room, the offensive odor seems to permeate every other room of the house but this scent has proven itself particularly effective at neutralizing it. The brands that attempt masking odors are (IMO) miserable failures. AirWick has improved the spray tip so that it now discharges a fine mist as opposed to the coarse spray of the earlier version that I tried several years ago. ... show more

I love the airwick freshmatic sprays!!!! There are other scents that I like better than this one (only because those have more of a sweeter, fruity scent) but this one is great as well. It's a very clean scent and does seem to permeate better than the sweeter scents. I wish they didn't cost as much as they do, but I'm willing to pay because they work so well! They actually neutralize odor instead of just covering it up, and I just hang them on the wall and let them do their thing. I used to use the plug in air wicks, but these are much better because you can actually smell it with every spray, and don't become nose blind to it. ... show more

I love that this automatic spray doesn't need electricity. The batteries last several months depending on the setting you use. The scents I've used so far are very nice and not overwhelming. I placed one device on top of a book shelf and used the 3rd setting because it's not a small room. A can lasts a little more than 1 month. I also have one in the guest bathroom. On the lowest setting, a can lasts almost 3 months. The cans are kind of expensive so I stock up when they're on sale. ... show more

Excellent product, works perfectly in our devices. They last about four weeks in the high or medium setting. We have some in our house more sensitive to fragrances, and this is the first to get the two thumbs for use at the higher setting. I recommend these if you want a clean fresh scent that is not entirely obtrusive or obvious. Not a floral, spicy or seasonal scent just a slight hint of citrus and nondescript essential oil.
