The right angle 90 degree charger cord is just what you need with Samsung Phones. This one however, all three broke right at the USB type C end plug extension, bend guard, which is supposed to help keep it from breaking or coming lose. I have others that lasted for some time with constant use, and thought this would be an improvement and last longer. But, I was wrong. One broke with moderate use by both me in the first week right at this critical joint. The other two lasted until after the return period and broke that same week. I should have returned them right after the first one came apart at the joint with the supposed bend guard and the fabric cord, but i thought the other two would last loonger if i took greater care.     • Good Right Angle Connector for Devices With Large Cases, but It Randomly Loses Signal

12/7/2021 Update: The manufacturer sent me an e-mail to my personal e-mail address from a random g-mail account offering me a $20 gift card if I deleted this review. I will not be changing my review, and based on this shady business practice, I recommend avoiding this manufacturer. This review is for the Ainope USB A to Right Angle USB C 3.3 FT cable. I used it for about two weeks on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus with a thin case. The connector sticks out significantly for my thin case. This connector would be great for devices in thicker cases, like Otterboxes. I also couldn't get my phone to rest sideways in my double cup holder with the cable to attach. (I did find a UGreen USB cable that doesn't stick out as far and allows the phone to fit in the cup holder though.) This Ainope USB cable started to randomly disconnect the data signal. Sometimes I had to re-plug it back in multiple times to get it to connect data signal again. Another thing that I did not like about this cable was the nylon braid. It was very rough, almost like sandpaper roughness too it. It gave me concerns about being abrasive to my cars interior if the cable were to get rubbed up against something. Ultimately, I had to return this cable since it was defective, but for my application I would not have been happy with it anyway. ... show more

Don't buy. These cables are the first ones I have ever bought that were obviously low quality. You can feel how the connection isn't quite right when I plug them into my phone. They don't fully seat and rock back and forth. They often don't charge the phone and I have to fiddle with them to get them to work. All other brands work just fine in my phone. Try another brand, there are others out there that are affordable and work just fine. ... show more

Nearly burned my truck up today! I've had a pair of these and have been using them several weeks. In fact, this is my second order. I smelled a strange smell when walking around my truck. Opened the door and it was full of acrid fumes. I located the source and it was this cord. Nothing plugged into it, but was plugged into the same place it had been since I received it. Been perfectly fine up to that point. The black plastic on the end of plug melted. The same night, the one I use EVERY night also did the same thing! I still have both and intend on sending back. (UPDATE) I've had these for some time now and stand by my initial impressions. I have made some edits to improve on emphasis. I LOVE the 90° plug for convenience when holding or sitting the device upright. I can't stress how much of a quality of life improvement this is. So far it's as durable as it is a handsome design. However, you don't get ultra fast or super fast charging, you get basic "quick" (fast) charge, though. And, to me, is plenty fast enough to be mote than useful. Oh, and did I mention that it's a generous TEN FEET? That's roughly a little over three meters for the rest of the world. But, if you're putting it on the charger for the night, charging time doesn't matter and could, in fact, be a better alternative for battery life. ... show more

These are great if you rest the base of your phone on something while it's charging, so you can actually use it without tweaking the cord. I was hesitant to try a cord by an unknown brand due to AmzBasics "thermal event" issues but I was impressed with this cord. It allows fast charging and is super durable. Ok.... just got these for Xmas. So I really can't say about durability ? But they feel like they should last awhile compared to other charging cables I've had in the past. The sideways input is different for sure. It kinda snaps in with a little more solid feel to it, compared to other charging cords. Other cords sometimes I felt as if the plug was not all the way in or it would wiggle loose or just fall out ! Well not this one ! You put this sideways plug in and you know it's in and it takes a let bit of effort to get the plug out. So it's not wiggling loose, it's not falling out and you know it's in there charging your phone !! Now speed ??? IDK I quess it could be charging the phone at the most fastest speed ?? I realized after my previous cord got a short that the main problem was the way I hold my phone causes it to have a sharp bend, almost a 90° bend, because my phone's power outlet is on the bottom and the power cord stretches off to the left or right. The 90° angle plug solves that problem. It also has a nice holder so that if the cord does need to bend it does so gently. I'm looking forward to not ever again having to contort the cord to get those small wires to stay in contact ... show more
