This is my second canopy, and I couldn't be happier with it. My first was a bit cheaper, and sheer white. It was perfectly functional, but I realized that a colored canopy would add to the coziness factor. And since it was time to clean it (these do collect dust) i decided to upgrade. So many to choose from, but this one worked for me. It's 2 layers of netting, white inside and blue outside. Still very see-thru but it feels more tent-like. The construction quality is great, and it comes with 2 big stick on hooks with screw anchors too. I just hung it from the previous hook, which holds it fine. It has 3 openings, all of which are well overlapped, so no mosquitoes are getting in. It comes with a string of star lights, which I didn't need but are actually kinda nice. There's a round storage case too if you're using it seasonally. If you're considering a canopy, this is a winner. You could spend a bit more for the super fancy ones, but I wouldn't spend less. The size is great for my Queen bed and will still work when I upgrade to a king size bed. The straps to hand it though are unnecessarily long and need adjustment. The quality is quite nice. My cats love to play in it but haven't harmed it at all. The look is as imagined based on the photo. It is your typical mesh so it is semi soft but does have a slight plastic feel. The color matches perfectly. I gave it 3 stars simply because the straps are way too long and hard to hang appropriately with the included hanger. My 6 year old just got her own room. For her birthday this October she asked me first, and foremost, for a canopy. This thing is sooo lightweight, with how to install it with either a heavy duty wall sticker or an expander screw that’s super little, it will hold up perfect and you won’t have holes in your walls/ceiling. The color is so pretty, the size is BIG, bigger than a little piddly one for the same price, and it’s going to Make the entire room. I bought a new lacy duvet cover to go with and this beautiful new set cost me less than $40 used like new. I feel blessed. And I freaking LOVE this canopy. She’s going to flip!
