We used this for a caroling event over the holidays. It served the purpose nicely. I only transported half the keyboard, which was enough to keep the carolers "in tune." When using both halves of the extended keyboard, the lower octave is extremely muddy & the pitches are unrecognizable, but it's still a decent, usable, portable piano for the price, with full size keys and a reasonable sound. ... show more

I'm overall very happy with this keybaord. I think the highlights for me personally are as follows: 1. Easy portability - the fact that it actually splits into 2 completely separate parts makes this infinitely more versatile than other brands 2. Super lightweight - I can play just half the keyboard easily in my lap 3. I love the pink 4. it operate on battery - I can connect it to a usb for power or I can rely solely on the internal battery 5. Built in speakers are solid 6. can plug in headphone or speaker 7. get WeChat to use additional functions I can carry it around, to church retreats, out vacationing, to the beach, to the cabin, wherever. I bought this originally to help with ear training, so that I have a keyboard to play while sitting on my bed. Now I use it to have fun. I think its drawbacks are: 1. key action is non-existent. The feel of the keyboard is that of a keyboard/synthesizer and not a digital piano. But honestly, I didn't buy this thing for its touch, so not an important consideration for me. 2. Touch response is awkward. The volume played depends on the speed at which you strike the keys, which is very hard to control, it doesn't take into acount the strength with which you are hitting the key. This is a bit trickier to get used to but not a deal breaker. Taking everything into account, I'm very happy with this purchase. I hope the developers continue to refine this product to hopefully improve the key action and touch response. ... show more

I am pleased with this portable piano, particularly because I can practice with just half of it, if I have limited space like when we travel in our RV. One thing that is not mentioned in the ad is that when using only one half of the keyboard the middle C moves two octaves to the left so that one has a useful range of octaves in the 44 keys to play most tunes. An improvement I would suggest is an additional hole in the back of the half keyboard so that the music score holder could be attached, rather than only being able to attach it when the two halves are magnetically attached. ... show more

I got the purple one. It came in and I was super excited to get it, however the sharps/flats are harder to push down than the white keys. You can’t put it on a normal X stand, has to be on a flat surface like a counter or table due to the magnets. Was a little smaller than I thought it’d be, but that makes it good for traveling with. The volume is also off, when you turn it up it gets way louder, and vice versa for turning it down. Most likely won’t work for a stage or sound system, however I have not tried. Will connect to headphones with wires, and speakers with wires. It is very easy to assemble which is great for beginning musicians. Quality could be better though. If you get this for an actual musician it better be a joke, or your very last option. If you get this for someone just learning music, it could work for a little while. ... show more

Love love love this piano. My four year old wanted to learn piano but I wanted a "basic" smaller piano for now to learn the basics . This is perfect because she can grow with it . So easy to use and storage is perfect . Highly recommend

Love the keyboard, definitely for a beginner. My only complaint is the app. WeChat is a Chinese based chatting app that lead me to a completely Chinese page when trying to create an account. The "mini program" is simply an app within an app. Don't waste your money if you want extra functionality because the app is unusable unless you literally speak Chinese (and I do not). It works with learning apps like yousician, it's fairly light and doesn't have anything other than the (weak) magnet to hold the two pieces together.
