Likes: * Lightweight *Durable Plastic and non skid textured surface for your laptop * Mouse tray that can go to right or left * There are texture strips on bottom of pad that helps prevent it from slipping off your lap * Small lip at bottom of mouse tray helps keep mouse or small 8 ' x 10" notepad from slipping as well (You could use larger pad provided it had stiff backing * Flat bottom is cooler on your legs when it is hot (A big plus in California) * Flat top keeps your laptop cooling vents from getting covered and frying your motherboard * Last and very important this pad easily fits with my laptop and accessories in my backpack or book bag depending on my mood. Dislikes: * I really have only one dislike in that there is no lock for the mouse tray to hold it in position closed or open so the mouse tray can flip around. (Solved by tying line around pad preventing mouse tray from moving while in transit.) Update 30 December 2019: I've been using this lapdesk for over two years and find that I LOVE IT MORE DAILY. It has only gone up only a dollar since my original purchase and I have found so many other uses for this lapdesk. None of the non-skid material or plastic has deteriorated like other plastic items I've purchased. My Dell XPS 13 fits on this lapdesk perfectly making it possible to sit on a couch using my computer for several hours without the backache I'd get from using a chair or table to support my laptop. Okay here are just some new uses: Turn it upside down on your lap to get a smooth surface writing desk while on the road. If you want a tray for your meal this works fine. (Being plastic it will protect your lap, and if you spill you can wash the lapdesk off) Why updated review? I regret not purchasing this even earlier in life as it is a great travel accessory. Yes I'd buy this again; plus it is even easier to use now that I've switched to a 13" laptop. Thank you for reading my review: Again Please give this review a thumbs up. It is real. My wife has owned the Logitech N315 for several years now and it has been a great LapDesk. I needed one for work so naturally I went looking for the Logitech. I could not believe that they were now charging $80-$100 for that product. It is in NO way worth that much money. Down in the suggested items was this Aidata alternative for less than $20. I took a chance, and I'm glad I did. If comparing to the Logitech, there are some slight variations on size, but you would never know it if you didn't have them side by side. The Aidata grip top works great even though it has a line through the center that is not grippy (Logitech is entirely grippy on the top and edges). I actually prefer the Aidata top because since the edges are not grippy, it slides in and out of my bag a bit easier. I don't really care about the fact that the Aidata mouse area comes out BOTH sides (its a singular piece, so its either the right or the left side not both at once) because the Logitech does the same thing if you just flip it around. The ONLY thing that the Logitech wins out on is purely the aesthetic look. it has a sleeker more professional look, but that is marginal and based on my personal tastes. All in all, when considering the price, the Aidata LapDesk is absolutely the way to go for me. (Logitech should be ashamed to charge that much for the N315)

I had high hopes for this laptop desk. It says it will go up to the 15.5 inch laptop. Well that's what mine is and yes it I guess sort of fits, but it doesn't stay on it. Every time I move, my laptop slides off. If I didn't need the mouse tray, I wouldn't use this at all, and return it. I'm not sure however if it's just the way my computer is, or if it is the way this desk is. The edges on the desk are smooth and rounded, not having any of the gripping surface. I'm thinking if it had that, my laptop wouldn't slide. It has 2 very large strips of grip surface on the board and then in the middle nothing. My laptop has little rubber feet on each corner and that's all. I think in order to get the"no slide" effect I want/need, I'm going to have to either find a non slip mat to cover the entire surface of the desk, or non slip strips to cover either the edges of the desk or laptop. We do have the older name brand version of this, it was/is perfect! They discontinued it however. SAD! If you have a smaller laptop, I'm sure this will work out beautifully. Great price!! Great concept!! Very handy, lightweight, won't slip off your lap. Also the mouse tray slides to either side, so south paw's can use this in comfort as well. I wish this worked better for my laptop so I could give it a higher rating. I just don't know if the issues are due to my model of computer or this desk. For that reason, I only give it 3 stars. I will amend this review if I do find later that it's not the desk. I did NOT receive anything for my review. I review so others can have the info to make their purchases. I too rely heavily on reviews to make my own purchases!! My reviews are based on my own, and families results from the product usage, good or bad. I will only amend my reviews if I receive a defective product.
