The side or magazine pouch is super flimsy. Iit basically fell apart/stretched out after one month with a few magazines in it. I would like to order a replacement, but I can’t seem to find how to do so or how to contact the company about it. Bought this table for my living room because I wanted a top that came up to eat at. It arrived in a timely manner and with all parts and no broken bits, and was fairly easy to put together. Only downfall of assembly was that 2 of the holes were not factory pre-drilled and we had to pre drill the holes high caused a little cracking on the inside of the table. Also the table material is really shiny which is great for clean up but at the same time it makes it look cheap. And, from the online pic it looked a little more refined but what’s in my living room looks more like a dorm room coffee table. It’ll serve it’s purpose but it won’t be a permanent fixture for long. Sturdiness= 8/10. Style= 6/10 Ease of Assembly 9/10. Storage space= 8/10 Lift up tabletop 7/10 (sit’s a little crooked and you have to grab each side of the table ( left and right) to pull it forward, can’t just grab it in the middle. Also the right side spring is way tighter than the left. These are things that cannot be adjusted) ... show more

Great product, went together as it was supposed to. I had no issues like the ones stated in the bad reviews. It looks nice, works as stated. Obviously it is a kit, and not made of solid wood. However, it looks nice and does the job.

Update- The seller responded very quickly, but could not rectify the issue. The hinges arrived bent, causing the side panels to sit VERY crooked. Terribly disappointing. I have emailed the support and will update if a fix is made. On the plus side, the instructions are very clear and tools are included. Like the style, love the functionality. The lifting top makes eating at the couch much more comfortable, and there's plenty of room for using a laptop and mouse as well. The hidden storage is a nice perk, too. My only gripe is that I wish the actual lifting mechanism was a little smoother. Depending on how you open it, it can be a little uneasy coming up, so be careful lifting it up with a bowl of cereal or a drink on it. You also have to be very gentle closing it, or it'll slam shut quite loudly. ... show more
