I am a dad who plays games when the babies are asleep so I needed a comfortable, stable, and resourceful desk area. It exceeded my expectations all around! The top shelf is sturdy and can hold many different things. It is NOT the sturdiest desk in the world, mine is tucked in the corner of the room and I secured it to the wall. Again for the price and value it handles itself very well. The wood pieces are thick and don't feel cheap, same with the metal connecting pieces. LED lights are very cool and easy to use, plus the app is easy to use as well. Easy to put together, took about 2 hours and all tools were provided. Very good instructions made the assembly easy, though it did take about 2 hours. It's fairly sturdy, keeps things nicely organized and looks nice in the corner of the small room I had to put it in. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the Monitor stand. It's stable and doesn't rock as I've seen other reviews say, but it IS separate from the rest of the desk, and is prone to sliding across its surface... it would have been better if it was attached. I used a couple pieces of double-sided tape to hold it in place for now. Otherwise, very worth the price. The instructions DO split based on the layout you prefer, so make sure to check that you're doing the configuration you want (It divides about halfway through to provide the shelving unit on the left or right.) ... show more

I LOVE this desk It was a lil difficult to build alone, so having two people is recommended. Yet, totally possible to build by yourself. Its sturdy, a decent size, and 3 different ways to build it. The LEDs it has uses one of the usb ports in the desk, and hooks that support them so they literally cant fall off, just the occasional re-sticking The lower shelf is perfect for putting things for extra storage. 5 stars, and a good price! ... show more

My pink-crazy 12-year-old daughter loves this desk. She uses it for homework and gaming on her iPad. It’s sturdy (doesn’t wobble in the slightest even with our carpet with thick padding), and the perfect size for her needs as a new middle schooler. My husband was able to assemble it easily in about two hours. My only regret is my own fault- I got her a 36” circular desk glass mat for under her chair- I wish I had gotten a bigger one. If you are looking, that size will let her scroll backwards, but she ends up off it when she rolls forwards. ... show more

I don’t usually write reviews but this desk was perfect for what I wanted. The instructions were very clear (you can make it go which ever side you want), took me and my 11 year old a couple hrs to put together. I will say that the small shelf for the computer is NOT attached but the rest is and is sturdy. We put some command strips and zip ties to hold her TV and I’m not worried about it falling now at all.
