This kit comprises of a handle, rope and a storage bag for organizing. The rope is made with strength and durability in mind so that it can haul the person being towed behind the boat. A more ergonomic arm grip handle on the ski rope is intended for added comfort for water activities. The rubber handle is slip and wear resistant, protecting the skier's hands from tearing or wear. Measuring at a total rope length of 75 feet long, there are four portions that may be removed to change its length. There is 3 add on ropes measuring at 10 feet each in addition to the main line of 45 feet. You have the option to use as many or little as you need depending on your watercraft, waves, or activity. One special feature involves three foam pieces designed to support floatation, keeping the line away from the boat's propellers and facilitating retrieval. The ski rope is made of low stretch material of vivid red, yellow, and green colors making it simple to see in the water. It can be used for water skiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding, and tubing, among other water activities.     • A length for every skill level.
This ski rope is super effective for someone learning to ski from either the skiing perspective or the driving perspective. The bright colors and the float action make it easy to keep an eye on it when retrieving someone when they are downed and keeping the rope in view and untangled. The set up and adding and removing sections was also a breeze, allowing your to swap them out on the water without hauling an entirely different rope out of storage. The bag is also a nice touch to keep the wet rope from soaking and getting moldy/mildewy. The handle itself is also very comfortable for long sessions, the subtle angle of the handle taking some of the stress off of your elbows and wrists in a way that the traditional straight handle does not, allowing you to relax your joints a bit while having fun. This rope has not given me any issues thus far and I am looking forward to making even more use of it as the weather heats up further. Fun in the sun, recommending this for users of all skill levels! Just wish that the handle had a short length to make using the rope for tubing a little more convenient. ... show more

I love the design of this ski rope, with 4 sections, so that you can customize the length you want to ski with. The main portion is a 45 foot section, and then it includes 3 separate pieces, each in 10 foot lengths (each a different color too; red/yellow/green). This is perfect if you want to adjust the length, like 75 foot for long-line water skiing, 65 foot for competition length skiing, 55 foot section (with 1 extension piece) or 45 foot section (the main section with the attached handle) lengths for other like wakeboarding or knee boarding. Smart design. And the colored sections you can tell quickly what length line you have it set up for. It comes in a kit, with a good grip handle, a storage bag that allows it to dry, and a velcro strap to hold/wrap it all up for storage. Good ski rope. Disclaimer; it's winter here, ice on the lakes, and I haven't tested this in the water yet. With that said, you don't really need to be floating to tell this is a nice ski rope. The handle is comparable to competition ropes. It's really nice that the rope comes in sections, like a competition ski rope, for bringing the skier (or tuber, wake boarder, surfer, whatever) closer to the boat. I think it's often misunderstood with beginner boat drivers that the length of the line makes a huge difference in the experience of the skier and driver. The only thing separating this from a competition rope is the lengths of the line sections. Each break in the line on this rope is 10', which differs from a competition rope. Otherwise, this could easily pass as a regulation slalom water ski rope. It's nice that it comes with a mesh bag as well, so you can put it away wet and it won't get moldy. ... show more

The Affordura water ski rope is amazing. I couldn't be happier with it. The adjustable size feature is fantastic, allowing me to easily switch between 45ft, 55ft, 65ft, and 75ft sections depending on if we're water skiing, wakeboarding or even tubing.
