To be honest, I saw "longboard", when I was looking for a display for my skateboard. Which is really a longboard. I didn't notice until later that this was meant for surfboards. It works fine. I like the way it looks. I think it displays my longboard well. On one of the pieces on the top, there's quite a bit of rough wood. It's like they didn't sand the whole thing. I don't really think anyone else will notice, because it'll be behind my board. But given how these are made, I'm not sure where roughness like this might exist on other mounts. ... show more

This is easy to install, looks good, and holds boards well on the wall. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a more "finished" look to hang boards (or anything else for that matter).

These are pretty well made painted real wood brackets that include clear instructions and assembly and mounting hardware. They feature a layer of padding on the tops of the arms which is a nice touch and reduces the chance of damage to whatever you choose to store or display on them. The assembly is pretty intuitive and easy (though the “do not over-tighten” warning in the instructions is a little concerning…these are machine threaded nuts embedded in wood and the heads of the hex-head screws that screw into them are also tightening against wood and wood is soft, so what constitutes “tight enough” but not “over-tightened” gets a little murky and subjective…unless you’re just not confident in the quality of your product?). Anyway, the ones I received assembled fine and they’re very easy to mount (especially since you can space each of them according to stud placement and get them well-secured…and I definitely wouldn’t trust the included plastic expansion anchors in nothing but drywall, FYI). If securely mounted, these are pretty versatile and well designed mounting/display brackets for surfboards or other relatively lightweight items that you want to keep free from scratches/damage. ... show more

My daughter is a wakeboard surfer and has numerous wakeboards. This worked very well for displaying and storing her wakeboards. It was very easy to put up and the wood looks really nice. The AF28 Surfboard Wall Mount appears to be well built with a nice finish. My only complaint is that the padding has lifted away from the wood on one of the inside bends. It appears that the foam tape was stretched a little too tight during construction causing it to lift away from the wood over time. A great looking way to display your favorite stick! ... show more

Quality wood and design, works very well comes with everything that you need to install. Super easy to get together and with the dry wall hooks can hold a decent amount of weight. However, dry wall anchors have their limits. If I can give any advice do your best to replace what it comes with with metal anchors and try and install these into a stub beam. ... show more
