Super cute- I'm petite so a little higher then I would like but that's typical given my height but still manageable. Look very nice and well made- a great alternative for leather or suede, still look upscale and for a lot less. They are a little big around the calves for me but again, I'm petite so would probably be good for most. I haven't worn them yet hoping they will be comfortable as described by others and given they are aerosoles- looking forward to cooler weather to try them out!

I am so impressed with these tall black leather boots! The quality is outstanding—the leather is smooth, rich, and has just the right amount of shine. Okay, so I really hated to have to return these boots. I got the 12 X-wide and was really excited to find some boots that actually fit. Which they really did, they fit so well that I couldn't get over it. They were the fit I'd been looking for, for YEARS. Except for the calf fit. I have no idea what the heck the folks at Aerosoles were thinking getting the fit so right and then going absolutely crazy at HOW WIDE THE CALVES ARE. Like I'm not small, at six feet tall and with a larger frame. My calves come in around 19 inches in circumference. They were SWIMMING in these boots, it was almost comical how much room there was between the boot and my calf. Given I got the fabric version that is kinda stretchy, they looked pretty silly. I tried to find somewhere local that might be able to alter them but no tailor would touch them and my shoe repair guy said he couldn't deal with the fabric version without ruining it. As I was planning on wearing these with tights and skirts, it's just a no go, and very sadly I had to return these to Amazon. If they made a regular calf x-wide, I'd buy it in at least three versions. Alas, they do not.

I wore them to a Christmas party and danced all night. The footbed was very comfortable. I usually have difficulty in the toe box area because I have small bunions but these did not bother me at all. I did wear a pair of thin socks over my tights to prevent my foot from slipping but a smaller size wouldn’t have worked for me. The shaft was a bit narrow but the fabric stretched just enough to zip all the way up. They did not bunch up or sag throughout the evening.

Booots showed up and delivered. Were given to a friend as a gist and she stated that the OrthoLite foam insole for cushioning were missing. Which is such a big let down.

I have 13" calves and I absolutely swam in these boots when I tried them on. I just took out my measuring tape: the circumference is 17" I did order a 7W because I have a bunion so perhaps the 7 regular would be a little smaller, but these are not the sleek boots I was hoping for. Congratulations though if you need to fit a wider calf, these boots should work really well for you; they were quite comfortable in the foot area.

Very comfortable, wore them for 6 hours and walked in snow/ice. Get a half size larger that your usual size as the toe box is narrow. It’s a snug fit around the calf but in a nice way so you’re not constantly pulling up your boots.
